Front desk lady needs serious retraining on how the computer system works

We were a little surprised to find there wasn’t an elevator, but we don’t mind the extra steps—exercise is always a plus! However, I did want to share some honest feedback about our check-in experience. When we arrived, the front desk staff member, Nicole, came across as a bit short with us. Later, when our daughter went down to request two extra pillows, she was met with a dismissive response: “Did you not find them?” There were only two pillows in the room, and we simply needed a couple more to feel comfortable during our stay. As guests, we expect a welcoming attitude, and unfortunately, her demeanor didn’t reflect that. It felt like she didn’t want to be there. That said, the rest of the staff we interacted with during our stay were wonderful—friendly, respectful, and helpful. One more note: we stayed in a suite with a king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed could definitely use an upgrade—it felt like we were sleeping directly on the springs. Thank you for taking the time to consider our feedback.

Complained about the ac not working and nothing was done. There was no bread for breakfast. Housekeeping had done a pathetic job of cleaning the rooms. I asked for a partial refund before checking out and no word on that. The staff was courteous but that doesn’t help with bad service. While I was checking out there was a maintenance guy there to fix the ac of the room we were staying in so they clearly knew the ac in room 122 wasn’t working. But they completely ignored and didn’t even log the complaint.

35 min drive from UIUC, but the room was quiet, comfortable and very clean. I will keep it on my list of hotels to keep in mind for my visits to UIUC.

Great stay! Check-in was flawless and room was ready for us. Breakfast was very good and it was refreshed frequently. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very nice and clean. Be aware there is no elevator which makes it difficult to take luggage up and down the stairs. If you’re on the second floor going to pool, breakfast, coffee, etc. becomes a real chore. Staff was nice.

Very clean, very good service. In the middle of nowhere, so limited dining / entertainment options. I personally loved the ruralness, but be aware of the limitations. Stayed for an Illini game and was great getting in and out. Would stay again.

They hotel was wonderful so clean you can eat off the floor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Recommend!!!
