The property was lovely, with a good sized room. There is a lovely walking path around the property that I highly recommended! The included breakfast was tasty and well balanced with many options as well.

Surprisingly clean in the room and shared bathroom areas. There is a shared lounge area where you have access to hot water and utensils for meals. Staff were welcoming and breakfast had the standard Icelandic options.

Very clean and friendly. The walking trail was a great way to start the morning.

We were leery of the shared bathroom situation but everything was kept very clean and it actually all worked out just fine. Lovely breakfast! The rooms were simple, but had everything we needed- having the sink was nice so you didn’t have to run to the shared bathroom to brush your teeth and whatnot. My little girl forgot her Kindle and the team there notified us as quickly as possible but we were already too far away to turn back. I worked with a few wonderful ladies via email and phone and they arranged to ship it to our last hotel before leaving Iceland. They were so sweet and helpful and we really appreciated their kindness!

This place was an absolute winner. I wish I had more time there and in the East Fjords generally. Clean room, excellent common area, ample bathrooms, easy parking. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Das Guesthouse ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer hatte nur die zwei Betten und ein Kleiderständer. Noch nicht mal ein Waschbecken. Frühstück war klasse. Abendessen ca. 10 min entfernt.

Really enjoyed the breakfast and the room. The staff was very friendly. Our favorite part was the beautiful walking trail attached to the property.

Comfortable room and beds, we got a good night sleep after a long day. Beautiful area and they had homemade cinnamon buns

Warm and welcoming! They have a great common room where you can sit and enjoy the amazing views. Coffee and tea are available 27/7. Breakfast was full of variety - fresh breads, fruit, cereals/granola, butter, jams, Nutella, and peanut butter, cheese and ham. **For a small fee you can pack your own lunch from the breakfast supplies!! Fresh cookies and giant cinnamon rolls available for purchase. Staff was outstanding.
