I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. I was quite disappointed to find that whoever is running this hotel didn't think to provide fans during the heatwave.

Wonderful hotel, cant recommend highly enough. Great location on the south west coast path. They offer a packed lunch for the next day which is definitely needed for the walk from Hartland way to Bude!

We stayed one night in 4 persons room (3 of us), we also had dinner in the restaurant. Food was great and service was excellent. The place is in a spectacular location and offers incredible views on the quay. We enjoyed a couple of drinks while watching a wonderful sunset- couldnt wish for more dreamy end to a day of walking on SWCP! The room we had was good, although we only had 2 small bottles of water, 2 towels and only 1 pack of small treats. Not a big deal, and I'm sure we couldve asked for additional, but we were too tired after a day of walking.

Lovely little gem on the coast, with beautiful walks on the doorstep . Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Home made Jams at breakfast were amazing.

Property is located next to hart land Quay beach, which is special rock formations. Property is old and simple, but great location, museum with alot of history on property. Recommend this property due to its special location. Restaurant was good home style food and nice attentive staff.

The Hartland Quay is a really quirky property. The location is absolutely stunning! The dramatic seascapes are almost part of the decor! My room was comfortable, really clean and had everything I needed. I had dinner in the pub that is part of the hotel. The food was really good and the staff excellent. Breakfast was really good too….especially the home made raspberry jam….made with real raspberries and there were bits of real raspberry in it!!! I really enjoyed my stay, staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely go back for a longer stay.
