Nice breakfast buffet, but offer no eggs!

A little off the beaten path, a true farmhouse where you feel like you're in the country. The staff are very friendly, and the property is very unique. We had a great dinner and our breakfast in the morning was included, and also excellent. They did have a few jacuzzis to soak in, but it was a little too cold and windy to enjoy them. We would return here again due to the uniqueness of the spot.

Quite a way off the main road. Nice surprise to get breakfast which was excellent. Useful microwave and kettle station available to use.

Cottages are fairly small for 4 people and the kitchen is underequiped if you wish to do cooking. Friendly and helpfull staff. Lots of flyes!!!

The location and staff was perfect! They actually let me have my own wine too in the restaurant. The food was great, I had the carrot and lentil buff and tomato soup. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom near the hot tubs - they were smelling sooo bad that I couldn’t even breathe inside, worse than a oublic toilet. Is showered in my room before the hot hub instead of using the bathroom next to it

Great hotel in a remote area. Nice scenery and very clean. The amenities are modernized and well maintained.

We didn’t use hot tubs but nice view. They sold incredibly beautiful Icelandic sweaters that were hand knit from a family member at a great price. Breakfast and dinner were great.

Habían millones de mosquitos y apenas puedes salir de la cabaña, pero una vez dentro como en casa...

Erinomainen majapaikka, oli ihana käydä rentoutumassa lämpimässä altaassa päivän päätteeksi. Paikka oli luonnonläheinen, kiirunat istuivat katolla ja Laxa-joki virta-alleineen ja Myvatn-järvi lähellä. Myös aamiainen oli oikein hyvä.

Stöng var fantastisk. Vi boede der to nætter. Nem adgang til seværdigheder og smuk natur omkring Myvatn og samtidig landligt. 5 km ude ad en grusvej fra hovedvej 1. Fred og ro med udsigt over vidderne. Værelset havde en fin størrelse og rent og pænt alle steder. Morgenmad med mange hjemmelavede ting. Aftensmad med f.eks. hjemme opdrættet lam på menuen. Her kommer vi gerne igen.

Unser Zimmer war sehr schön. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das absolute Highlight waren die zwei Hot Tubs, die man kostenlos nutzen konnte. Diese haben einen traumhaften Blick in die Landschaft. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig.

Rooms were good and appreciated having a sink in our room. Kitchener option would be good so that you ate not only bulged to eat in the restaurant they do have a microwave and jug but no option to make yourself a cuppa. Pillows were awful.

It was a nice stay. I really enjoyed the hot tub.

Zimmer einfach aber geräumig. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Hot Tub mit schöner Aussicht.
