Easy to check in and neat and tidy room. There was quite a lot of noise from the bar, however, this closed at a reasonable time, so no issue sleeping.

Lovely twin room modern decor and bathroom, looking to re book for next year would recommend.

Superb place to stay, comfortable, clean rooms and excellent food.

Staff are lovely and very helpful.The food and breakfast were top notch and arrived quickly after ordering.Bar offers plenty of choice and staff are warm and friendly.Rooms were clean and fresh,beds were comfortable definitely booking again next time in Wales Mountain biking!

Surprenant à l'arrivée parce qu'on arrive par le pub. C'était l'heure du diner donc salle pleine et bruyante. Mais passé la porte qui permet d'accéder aux chambres, insonorisation totale. Très bien géré, calme complet. La chambre était un peu petite mais nous n'y restions qu'une nuit étape. L'équipe est accueillante et sympathique ; nous avons diné et pris notre petit-déjeuner sur place : très copieux.

Stayed here as a family. We were on a biking trip in the local area. Location was great and in the centre of town. The rooms were clean and well equipped with a nice shower and bathroom. We are in the pub on the evening. The food was fine, decent pub grub.

We loved the room, it was really comfortable and clean and having the bar for food was really welcome and the food was lovely. The bar was very busy and it was hot so we weren't sure if the staff had just had a long day but the welcome was a bit stiff and the staff didn't seem bothered whether we were there or not as guests. The location was great for where we were going and the room was top notch, so we could forgive that. It was a brilliant location though and a great base for most of mid Wales.

Clean, well presented room - newly refurbished. Very nice bathroom, good shower. Bedroom - Need for a fan - free standing / ceiling to eliminate need to open window and thus cut road noise and church bells, every hr throughout the night!

Quick and easy check in - great local pub and fantastic menu.

Warm reception when booking in at bar. Stairs were very wide up to rooms which was great for carrying up bags etc. The room was a little small and lacking in hanging space (although we did book small double). Bathroom was very clean and had been recently modernised. Food at the pub was very good with high hiegeane rating for kitchen. Very pleasant stay and would book again.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly, helpful staff and an excellent meal, with a few great pints. Was a work trip but was very happy to stay there.

Room was clean and nice, beds and bathroom pretty decent, however it was pretty expensive and didn't include breakfast.

Room #2 is a fire escape room & is definately NOT a nearly £100 a night room..very small, tatty furniture and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor..we have stayed in far more superior rooms in the past for half the price. Can't review the food as it was way too expensive for us.

The room was very clean and good facilities. Didn’t like the fire alarm going off just passed midnight

A very comfortable stay at the White Lion. Very nice room. Exceptionally warm and friendly welcome on arrival.

Comfortable, quiet and clean room in an old pub c1700. Full of character. Superb menu and food. Lively bar with Sky Sports. Plenty of nonsite, safe parking.

Friendly staff , very accommodating and clean and updated rooms

hotel is tired in areas but looks like its getting a bit of an update, our room had a very sloping floor and one of the mattresses on the bed had a big dip in it. However for the price we paid and including breakfast which was really good and evening meals were very large portions and good value for money we were happy enough
