A busy country pub in a rural location, good selection of beers and a comprehensive menu.good parking area and outside seating, used as a base to go to Oulton Park circuit.

Our stay at the Carden Arms couldn't have been better. Just what a country pub should be. Our bedroom was amazingly furnished with good antiques and was very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. A big 'thank you' to the person who rescued it from closure!

Staff and the hospitality we received was second to none. Highly recommend Carden Arms to anyone looking for beautiful surroundings and quaint village life. Family Room we stayed in was excellent. Clean and tidy with a fantastic comfortable 4 poster bed. Breakfast was exceptional and service was fantastic. Special mention to John (manager) and Neal (chef) who went above and beyond helping us. We came to see Kings of Leon in Wrexham and struggled with transport to and from. Neal came to the rescue which made our stay even more memorable. Can’t thank you all enough. Highly recommend Carden Arms for food, beverages and room hospitality.

Lovely room with antique furniture. Got a bit hot in the night as we couldn't turn off the heating. Very friendly staff.

A lovely old country pub and hotel. The rooms are clean with really good furniture. The dinners and breakfasts were good quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great stay, food was excellent and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Room lovely and well equipped.

Even though I was working in the area I felt like I was on a mini break. Loved my single room, friendly attractive pub and excellent staff. Can’t wait to be in the area again!

Amazing family room. Bunks were great and the four poster bed. Lovely breakfast, loads of choice and very tasty.

We had a lovely time here. We booked a family room which was clean and spacious. The room had everything we needed with comfy beds. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was tasty. The cooked breakfast menu was great & had something for everyone. The pub is Nice and quiet and in the middle of the countryside.

Lovely country pub/hotel. Easy check in...lovely room and great selection of beers...didn't eat there but was busy with diners on a Friday night

Hotel was closed when we arrived ! We had a panic to seek alternative accommodation elsewhere ! Advise please contact hotels directly before booking through here .. 2 small children no where to stay
