Great breakfast, enjoyed the pool, room was comfortable, great view. Only minus was that people in room above me were partying late one night and I couldn't sleep - I called the front desk and they took care of it.

I left my purse in the dresser of our room and didn't realize until we had gotten all the way home (2 hours away). I called the front desk, they located my purse, and I was able to pick it up. Thank you to your honest staff :)

Very comfortable

Everything was very good, except the shower had mold down at the bottom along the floor.

Conveniently located . The hallway looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in several days and the room had a damp smell. Breakfast was ok.

It gave the feeling of being home

In short: All the items 10 over 10. Emplacement in the social knott of the city, garage, price, breakfast...The only inconvent is that the comfort of the beds retains you in horizontal, making almost impossible to get the fantastic breakfast. 😉

Clean rooms and nice breakfast options. There’s clearly some issues with staffing but all of the actual service members I interacted with were kind and accommodating. Small pool but clean.

This hotel is very convenient to University of Iowa! Completely walkable and close. Also very close to downtown dining options and Prairie Lights bookstore. If you do bring a car, prepare yourself for a parking adventure--this garage goes DEEP. Breakfast was good, room and common areas were clean and the view was incredible from the upper floors. Signage for ice/amenities could be better.

We extended our stay, needed room change. The front desk staff made that seamless so we could move directly from one room to the next. All staff friendly.

It was a quick stay and the location was great!

Bathroom door didn't close properly. Toilet seat was broken and slid around when you sat down on it. No parking and front lobby staff addressed the problem differently for various guests. Not enough pillows and towels. Sometimes they offered vouchers other times they suggested street parking. They seemed put out to explain the hotel' s short comings. Managers need to do better job training their staff.

I like a Hyatt Place, but this one is usually the worst one I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was extremely limited and hot items were not hot. On a Thursday night with nothing going on, their main parking lot was full, and I needed to park several blocks away and walked back to the hotel. There were leaks out of the ceiling at the breakfast as well. Staff was not particularly friendly. The room was fine, but not up to Hyatt Place standards. Overall would not stay here again. At this price point there are much better options in Iowa city.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Quiet. Convenient to our next morning appointment. The only thing was $15.00 to park your car in there garage and there really is no optional parking. Getting in & out of garage was a little confusing. Otherwise it was a great over night stay. Ty
