Excellent hotel . Only stayed 2nights . Only negative was the room was too hot .

A lovely, traditional independent hotel. Feels recently refurbished. Room was spacious and modern. Spotless throughout. Warm and genuine staff. Modern gym and pool. Sauna needs attention - the floor and seats get dangerously hot, couldn’t put feet on the floor! Restaurant excellent. Lost a star due to very poor noise insulation between rooms.

Was lovely and peaceful Rooms a lovely size for my partner and 2 girls they loved that they had a seperate big girls room with bed. Loved the swimming pool

Good quiet

Very friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the food. Room was clean and modern although it was a little noisy - some sort of rumbling machinery next door. Lots of free off street parking.

The hotel was lovely, great location just on the outskirts of town, with a bus stop right outside straight into town.The spa was clean and warm. Would definitely stay again

Good location easy to drive round the city, lots of parking. Good gym and sauna. Staff polite and helpful especially the lady who received me on the first night. Very diligent and respectful. Thank you

Quiet good for work

Comfortable hotel with all the facilities needed. Only stayed 1 night and did not use the spa, so unable to comment. Breakfast was good

I always stay here when I am in Nottingham, and why wouldn't I when the hotel staff are always 1st class and will try and accommodate you. A well equipped gym, swimming pool & sauna. Ample parking, A decent breakfast & restaurant & bar for meals drinks.

Walls paper thin in bedroom so could hear next door on the phone from 4am - having a quiet night’s sleep is so important so on this basis we would not return. We highlighted the noise issue at the front desk, but they told us they had not come across this issue before but when you read the reviews, it seems to be a common theme! Room was not cheap for what we paid, could have slept better in a Holiday Inn. The only good things were free parking, buffet breakfast, and spa use which we had to ourselves.

It was a pleasant stay, no issues. A quick heads up bring your own shampoo and shower gel. Grab some slipper for pool and sauna access

Clean and tidy room, staff and very friendly and helpful.

Room at the front of the hotel by the road, noisy. Double room but very small limited options to store anything. Bathroom also very small with nowhere to put toiletries other than on the floor. Extractor fan in the bathroom very noisy. TV at odd angle and too large for the room, partly restricting access to the curtains. Gym and pool looked impressive. Breakfast ok. Not especially welcoming

A little disappointed the sauna wasn’t on but otherwise very pleased, this is our 3rd visit. Food is excellent, never had a poor meal here it’s always been fantastic.

Arrived to easy parking and a friendly receptionist, room was spotless and fresh decor. Food was great had the daily special waitresses were friendly and very helpful didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped

2nd time staying. room lovely and comfy, a couple of black long hairs in the bathroom, deffo not ours as we are both blonde, both times i’ve stayed here jacuzzi was freezing, the little pool wasn’t that warm either, sauna was a nice touch, person that checked in and out was nice, person that checked us in for breakfast i found rude at times, customer service needs working on, our room was meant to be superior but im not sure it was, as i stayed in a comfort before and it appeared to be the same standard except for a king size bed

I was surprised as the cost of the single room so was expecting the worst. However this place was great from the minute I stepped inside. Good size room. Lovely pool to relax in. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant location for getting into town. Great staff I highly recommend it.

This was booked to break a journey between Hull and Oxford. Decent, clean hotel with nice food, friendly service and a nice pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
