Hubby and I have been coming here now for 21 years and this little oasis is a great getaway to completely unwind.

On a late night whim we booked the cottage. It was truly a magical experience. Very grateful that we could book with just a few hours notice online. Instructions sent were great, and the cottage exactly what we hoped for - quiet, secluded, lots of privacy, and bird life (thank you for the bird seed, that was pretty much the ultimate!!). The entire place is just amazing! Love the owl touches and everything about the cottage! Incredibly romantic.

Pros: spa bath, heating worked beautifully, great location. Cons: lack of communication from property owner. We asked for an earlier check in (3pm). The shower wasn’t great, the water went all over the bathroom floor and was a slipping hazard. Would probably stay elsewhere next time.

Haven’t stayed here for quite a few years, but absolutely love it here! It’s quiet, private and just beautiful to get away from it all. Breakfast provisions were wonderful and the kitchen is well supplied. Thank you for having us! Will be coming back.

Gorgeous cottage

Easy checkin, geeat stay all round, highly recommend

The cottage suited our needs perfectly, plenty of room for two couples and kids, fully equipped kitchen, laundry & bathrooms.

check in was easy and the property was excellent with all the amenities Easy parking & great breakfast.

We stayed at Observatory Cottages for our wedding accommodation and was impressed from arrival. East close access to shops, clean and secluded and perfect amenities for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Milk, bread and water/juices provided unexpectingly which was a bonus so breakfast and snacks sorted. Keep up the great effort !!

I was impressed with the friendly point of contact and professionalism exhibited. Extremely clean cottage with old world charm. The native bird life was a bonus! Most enjoyable stay and looking forward to staying again. 😊

We stayed 1 night and the suite was brilliant. Clean and tidy with little unexpected touches like all the stuff for breakfast in the fridge and waiting. The late checkout was great and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for a great night away :)

Lovely relaxing property, well stocked with supplies. Garden needed some weeding. An additional bench in the bathroom would have been handy and perhaps a wide vision mirror at the entrance would also improve safety, not that we had any issues - just feedback.

Neat clean. Plenty of space for group bookings. Lovely quiet spot with nice outdoor areas.

Loved that it was completely private and quiet. The view from our porch was incredible. We wish we could have stayed longer

The cottage was perfect. Everything was thoroughly thought of- from breakfast ingredients to candles. The cottage itself is very homely and private. The communication between the host was fantastic with prompt replies.Will definitely be coming here again.

Loved the serenity and surrounding nature.. great place for a quiet getaway complete ammenities also provided bread with bacon and eggs in the fridge

Beautiful unit, everything well thought of, including breakfast ingredients, great fireplace, 2-people jacuuzi, comfy bed, candles, nice backyard, parking at the door, easy signage and instructions. The only content was the few spider corpses we found on the floor (but hey, no live ones).
