Just directly opposite to the beach with free parking. Basic continental breakfast but does the job to fill up. If you have craving for eggs and the full English fork out an extra 5.50 but the basic is decent. It's a Victorian house with the infrastructure still fit for purpose. Housekeeping is everyday which is fantastic. Any misses and the staff would go over and beyond to help you. A big shout-out to Dere and the reception staff who made our stay enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised with my room at the Clarendon, which was brighter and nicer than expected. Everything was nice and clean and I enjoyed the partial sea view. The bed was a little hard for me, but others may appreciate such a firm bed. The young lady on reception was very kind, friendly and helpful. I especially liked the free parking, which is pretty rare in seafront hotels and I noticed when looking out of my window at night that it was very brightly lit, which is very comforting. It was quieter than I expected during the night, which I appreciated. However, inside the room, I could hear people in adjoining rooms taking a shower and also talking, which wasn’t great. Continental breakfast was pretty disappointing and there was no fruit, but it was no big deal. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

The decor is dark and dated, but the location is excellent and the staff are lovely. Very good continental breakfast included. Overall, great value for money.

Was a lovely stay. Free carpark, welcomed by a friendly lady on reception, good sized room although bit of a squeeze for the loo. Spotless clean through out. Comfy bed and good breakfast

Clean comfortable room, with a good price discount via one of the booking websites. Friendly and helpful receptionist for booking in, and free on site car park. Would have preferred fresh, rather than instant coffee for breakfast, and croissant that were a little more authentic. Will certainly re visit hotel if we return to Morecambe, but I'll pack a French press and some real coffee. Thanks for the hospitality.
