While the location is ideal for transport, The Globe needs to significantly improve its customer service, flexibility, and, most importantly, provide a secure way for guests to store their belongings. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you value basic amenities, a welcoming atmosphere, or reliable guest support.

Localização excelente, o quarto que estávamos apenas não tinha janela que pudéssemos abrir, porém não alterou em nada a excelente estadia. Recepcionistas muito cordiais!

Sehr zentrale Lage. Betten und Möbel relativ neu und bequem. Das Gebäude und die Zimmer sind sehr runtergekommen, es ist die ganze Nacht auf dem Flur sehr laut, da die Gäste vom Feiern zurückkommen und die Toiletten von vielen Zimmern auf dem Gang sind. Und da unter der Zimmertüre ein breiter Spalt ist, hört man alles. Das Zimmer hatte kein Fenster, war eher eine umgebaute Abstellkammer. Die Dusche zu betreten haben wir uns nicht getraut. Keine Handtücher. Einzig positive waren die relativ bequemen Betten, wobei man dank dem Lärm trotzdem nicht wirklich schlafen konnte.

Great location, staff very friendly, luggage storage available if arriving before check in time.

Very basic hostel - not a hotel. Room was just that, a room with 4 single beds. 1 electrical socket. 1 desk. Not overly clean, beds were not comfortable. Towels were provided if you asked at reception. All in all, a place to lay your head in a great location to explore Amsterdam. The issue is that it’s not priced to reflect that. Very, very expensive for what is offered.

I loved the stay awesome staff!

The staff were lovely. The area of the hostel is very close to everything, falling on the outskirts of the red light district. The room is very basic but that worked well for us!
