Brilliant hotel second time there great food and beer will be going back

Baslow is a lovely village, and the pub is perfect for exploring the peaks

Ideal location, great selection of drinks at the bar , lovely comfortable rooms and very good service on checking in and at breakfast ; breakfast very hearty and lots of choice

Nice room with comfortable bed and pillows. Pretty quiet considering proximity to road and being above a pub.

All staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious. Bed was large, lovely clean, crisp bedding, thick duvet, fluffy pillows. Bathroom was large and clean, good shower over bath. Large carpark. Very convenient location, especially for Chatsworth House.

Fabulous break in a charming pub with rooms. The staff did everything to make our stay special. Laura was amazing at breakfast and the food was fantastic. We will definately be back.

We had a lovely stay over. The room was so big clean and comfortable. We ate downstairs and the food was lovely as was the breakfast. Staff were so welcoming and friendly we really enjoyed our visit.

We only had one night at the Wheatsheaf, as we were travelling around. It is very close to Chatsworth, was comfortable, and served excellent food. Our host was very welcoming

We had a lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf Baslow no toilet brush, no towel rail we had to ask for clean towels but they never arrived, meals were very good and staff were very efficient.

We enjoyed our stay for two nights in a great village close to everything in the Peak District. Breakfast is excellent and we enjoyed one dinner onsite as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. The room size is generous. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. I enjoyed staying an inn that is close to Chatsworth House.

Friendly staff, good size room, bathroom smaller just a good shower, not bath, but ok and windowsill meant you had room to store toiletries. Room next to road but no noise with double glazing. 3 choices of breakfast depending on how hungry you were. Ideal for Chatsworth, go across the road & you are able to get in the grounds & take a walk across to the house.

Beautiful historic setting, great food, indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking. It's at the village center on the main road, so you can hear a bit of traffic if the windows are open

I had a really enjoyable stay. I’m a lone traveller and this location was ideal. The pub staff were very friendly, food was good and the rooms clean and comfortable. Can’t fault it.

The location is wonderful, close to Chatsworth and some beautiful walking country, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, accommodating and flexible when we asked for things. The perfect place to stay.
