everything was fabulous and the Darwin's are a delight! The best thing about our stay was the information sheet in the room. I have photographed it for posterity, as it really made us laugh! oh, and the breakfast! Which was amazing! -home made Quince jelly! FABULOUS STUFF! the only little thing we missed was a kettle in the room (although the hosts are very happy to make you a cuppa upon request) I work very late into the night and would have liked a cup of tea around 11.30pm, but would obviously not expect anybody to comply with a request like that at that hour! The house is beautiful, the bed and pillows were comfy and the view is lovely. Kington is sweet and we will definitely stay again

Hosts where amazing breakfast excellent room brilliant

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at The Church House. The property itself is full of character with stunning gardens and was a very relaxing place to stay. The welcome was very warm and the owners provide lots of useful information about the surrounding area e.g. places to go, restaurants, local shops etc. Breakfast was excellent with lots of local produce, with the home made marmalade a personal favorite.

99.9% was great. The only slight negative was that the twin bed near the books had a rather uncomfortable mattress

The proprietor Andrew was lovely made me and the dogs very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the marmalade, jam and compote was home made. Lovely walks around area. Would recommend.

Enjoyed one night stay in church house. Nothing was lacking. We were given tea and cake in beautiful garden on arrival. Bed was comfortable. Large bath. Breakfast was cooked to order in morning. Fruit and yoghurt or cereal was on offer too. Recommend it as great place to stay close to centre of town but quiet.

We stayed just for one night to attend a nearby wedding, Andrew was incredibly welcoming and helpful. It is a beautiful location, very peaceful the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. We were struggling to find a taxi and to take us to collect our car from the wedding venue and Andrew stepped in and saved us! Very much recommended. Thank you!

Exceptional place and amazing owners. We loved the master double bedroom with a separate bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Coffee and cake on arrival. Short walk from the town centre where you can find a couple dining options and late open groceries stores

Delightful, stepping back to a more restful era. The house is full of character and very comfortable. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating, and the garden looked lovely. A great place to switch off and relax.
