I really enjoyed my stay. It's obviously difficult with COVID but the staff have responded with very creative solutions to the situation. Well done!

A great base to explore the area. Our rooms were not the ones that had been newly refurbed, so there were some teething problems, ie radiator and shower not working properly. I chose to bathe instead and a small heater was delivered to the room. The staff were mostly warm, friendly and helpful. 5* shout out to Shell who ran the bar and Jack who was new...but very helpful. The food was generally good wholesome pub grub served hot in good time. Only once on a very busy bank holiday night we waited over 1 hour. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thank you

This hotel is in the process of being improved. The entrance has been newly decorated. Our room was OK but the shower needs upgrading. We had problems with TV reception. The restaurant menu is not extensive but even so several items were unavailable. Staff were always pleasant and helpful.
