When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.

We could not locate a supermarket . Restaurants and ferry were 15min walk each way .

Really cosy space. Had everything I needed, shops nearby and close to the ferry to downtown and the bridge.

The location was good, walkable to the Ferry terminal, the sports complex and the 320 bus stop to the airport was just a block away, only $3.00. There wasn’t central air but the bedroom had a large mobile air conditioner and multiple fans in the unit, so sleeping was comfortable.

The landlord insisted on a checkout by 10:30 AM. The neighborhood is okay - not far from waterfront

The apartment was very well equipped but no instructions as to how to use appliances that we could find. My first task upon arrival was to clean the fridge and freezer and generally clean around the kitchen area. The microwave was very large and efficient. The apartment was well situated for the things we wanted to do.

We liked that our vehicle was right at our door. We had a balcony to have our morning coffee and an outside entrance.

The place had everything we needed for our three night stay. Especially liked how close it was to the ferry terminal to get to Halifax (10 minute walk). Bed was comfortable and the place was private. Good communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again.

A great little one bedroom place with easy access to downtown Dartmouth and quick drive or ferry ride to the Halifax boardwalk. Parking available on site through side street.

Unkomplizierte freundliche Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber. Das Appartement war geräumig und sauber mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Der Pizzaofen könnte vielleicht mal eine Reinigung vertragen. Ein Parkplatz direkt beim Haus stand auch zur Verfügung. Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang kommt man mit der Fähre direkt nach Downtown Halifax! Empfehlenswert!

Andy was very helpful, meeting us to check in at noon then drove us to the local supermarket for some supplies. Apartment was very well equipped and the bed was so comfortable.

The check in was a little detailed….was sent many instructions and pictures but all went well. Not much to do in the area but a short walk to the ferry to get to Halifax.

The apartment is fantastic. It is very spacious with high ceilings, a small kitchen, sitting room and large separate bedroom. So much nicer than a standard hotel room. The host was helpful and efficient in introducing himself and providing instructions on how to gain entrance. The amenities were top notch. Would highly recommend this unit, especially to any who wants to be able to spread out and prepare their own food.

I like the fully equipped kitchen, outdoor parking is just right outside, and it was spacious for me and my husband.
