It was like going back to the 1950,s decor very old , breakfast was awful 1 sausage 1 slice of bacon over cooked egg burnt tomatoe . Warm toast

Fairly.basic but clean and tidy.

I didn’t see any personnel during my stay. My key was on top of the reception desk for me to pick up . I desperately wanted a shower after the long drive but no hot water . None the following morning either . The bar / restaurant was closed . My view from my room overlooked what appeared to be a scrap yard .

Very nice and peaceful yes would go back when am back in Wrexham area recommend the hotel, the surrounding area is picturesque

Staff was lovely clean room comfy beds Mountain View’s lots of sheep around very nice will stay again

Cleaner was nice doing a good job , bar and restaurant closed , outside areas were a mess grass hadn't been cut this year the decking on the lawn was ready to fall down the room was ok ,dated bathroom, bath panel was ready to fall off and to top it all off there was no heating or hot water.

Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.

The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy.

It’s like it’s still in the old days old blankets bed u could feel the springs in it . towels had dirt on them cob webs in the light . Nobody there to greet u key left with a piece of paper . No breakfast all doors were locked to the bar no dinners on . All holiday not good at all . Didn’t stay two days as car broke down and had to be taken home so waiting to see if I get a refund for the one night we didn’t stay…

Used packet of condoms under bed. Member of staff not very helpful when we asked about food. We couldn't take food to our room, even though they didn't serve food. No hot water. Positive part was the comfy bed.

Room was old and tired .no bar available and was not what the website advert offered .was clean and plenty of hot water ..we saw our host once at check in and that took 2 seconds to be handed a key .

The owners are not good people and just openly rude. They bait you into arguing about politics. They advise a fireplace but refused to even turn it on when asked. Roaches everywhere . The bartender from Germany was the only good thing about this place . Avoid no matter how cheap it is .
