We got an oceanfront room with a beautiful view of ocean and and maybe 50ft walk to the beach. We enjoyed staff, food, and the amazing beach frontage that was all sand and coral! We snorkled everyday in front of hotel and saw lots of colorful fish, starfish and on our last full day we got to spend some time with a sea turtle passing through while snorkeling! We will be back to Sandcastle on the beach for sure!!

Property AC not up to standards - Bedroom was about 77 degrees. If you want good AC it is not here!

I have stayed at several places on St Croix and this is the best so far. It is right on the water and everything was just tremendous.

Right as you enter you will see a bunch of pamphlets on the wall with places to go to do activities, shopping, restaurants and more. ALL staff is very friendly, will give tourist recommendations where to go and right at the front entrance. Peggy at the bar introduced us to Tina who does tours ( J&T Adventures) I would recommend going with her as a first timer, when out and about remember cash is king, some places don’t take card. I am a shy person myself but she is very lax she will take you anywhere I mean ANYWHERE just hit her up. We got the chance to go sail/fish as well and a little sail boat parked at the shore, the face of the company is Steffy the dog to may see her in the water or on the boat. I was surprised they had free kayaking and snorkeling at the hotel, we had the chance to see a green sea turtle and many other fish during our stay! 10/10 would stay again

Cleanest resort property on St Croix!

The property is absolutely beautiful beachfront best on the island

Really liked the property. We did not chose the biggest room and would have liked more space. we were a little shocked by the size and the pictures on the website, but it was enough room for our short stay. Nice beach and no one disturbed or hassled us

The team at the hotel was excellent, very friendly. The ocean was beautiful. The restaurant was, in my mind, just ok. Continental Breakfast was ok. I don't recommend going in August, very, very hot. I would think the winter months would be very nice. Not a lot to do off the property.

We really enjoyed our stay ay Sandcastle. Our deluxe waterfront suite was incredible, just steps from the pool, the beach, and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The menu at the beachfront restaurant was varied and the entrees were excellent. The only downside was the distance from Christiansted. We would definitely stay there again but extend our stay to two weeks at least.

The employees were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly enjoyable. The beach and ocean view were breathtaking, with crystal-clear water.

We loved the Sand Castle resort. We met the owners, who were lovely, and personally extended themselves for our comfort. The property was very well maintained and right on a lovely stretch of beach. The restaurant and bar were great. There was not anything we did not like about our visit to the Sand Castle Resort.

Need more variety at the restaurant, more finger foods to snack on at night Happy Hour and food specials Wonderful staff!

Make sure to spend the money and get the beach front room

The staff were so pleasant and the rooms were kept very clean. The space itself is so beautiful and on a great part of the beach in Frederiksted. Anyone looking to stay in St. Croix and on the west shore should strongly consider staying at Sand Castle on the Beach.

We loved this place so much. Peaceful, beautiful, great staff. Would stay here again.

Third time….amazing every single time!!

The beach at the resort was an absolute dream for a honeymoon! We toured around the entire island during our honeymoon and kept saying that Sand Castles was the best choice! The drinks onsite were fantastic as well as the restaurant. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. We appreciated the snorkeling gear and the ability to take the kayaks out at no additional charge. The resort was so clean and everyone was so nice! We will absolutely be back again soon!

Amazing! We had the best time. Super clean and nicely decorated rooms with plenty of hot water and AC that works wonderful and actually had to turn up because it got a little cold (and I’m hot all the time). The beach is one of the best on the island. Food, drinks, service are fantastic. Already planning our trip for next year!
