Great staff!

We will absolutely be returning within the next few months. Never experienced the customer service tht we recieved. Kimorah-lin in guest relations is an absolute Gem to this Ritz-Carlton. Six nights. Awesome bed. Friendly staff with great help about things to do, taxis, and restaurants etc. our first time in St Thomas and we will be back.

The RITZ Carlton, Saint Thomas. Amazing, memorable, fun and an everlasting experience. The best decision I have made about travel accommodation, in decades. This year, it was my wife's 50th and I wanted to surprise her with something unique and different. We also have 2 small children, ages 7 & 10. The Ritz Carlton was my immediate pick. Our philosophy is that if you travel somewhere unknown with small children, choose the best there is to avoid ugly surprises, disappointments or anguish. Do not penny pinch or fool yourself into thinking that you are some sort of a travel magician. I have tried that in the past, looking for deals, cut corners. . .and it turned out 50/50 in terms of excitement vs. disappointment. The Ritz Carlton Brand delivered what it is known for, worldwide. The moment we pulled into the Ritz Carlton with our rental car, the staff was extremely attentive, welcoming, happy and excited to see us. The Bellmen drove us with their golf cart to the section of the resort that is called CLUB LEVEL. Club Level is an all-inclusive accommodation, with complementary meals, beverages, specialized service, any sports gear you can possibly think of. It is a must do for anyone that expects being pampered, kick up their feet and truly forget about everything. The people, the staff, the elevated class in service, the attention to detail is what we will always remember. Every team member from concierge to service staff held the utmost professionalism. Everything about the Ritz was nice. The staff are the best part of resort. Friendly and eager to help out. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the bathrooms around the resort...With the exception of the bathroom at Alora, none of them are airconditioned. Without air-conditioning, it get hits real hot, and the smell isnt pleasant either.

The Ritz always does an amazing job of putting their best foot forward. Right away you could tell that the staff was trained to give all guests undivided attention and courtesy no matter who they were from the gardeners and landscapers to the managers. The facilities where carved into the natural topography in the back of a bay surrounded by mountains... just gorgeous! We had an amazing room where it was said that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas once stayed. There was a window in the hallway with such an amazing view... i could have spent my whole trip staring out the window at the electric blue water and Island of St. John in the distance. This was a big facility and getting around often ment planning or walking a bit. Food: we stayed on the club level and the club provided most meals from the hotel. And it was beautiful if not always the most tasty. We ate at the residence's restaurant once and found it just ok. But we never at at the beach resturant or the main resturant which i attempted to and couldn't be seated. Seems odd that you have a captive group at your hotel and can not accommodate everyone at the main restaurant. We ended up having room service. Good thing we were club level or it would have been alot more room service. Sargassum is a seedweed problem in the Atlantic Ocean this year in particular. The Ritz makes a real effort to keep it clean. The bed was amazing! Feather topper and thick down comforter.

Beautiful hotel & amazing staff!

The pros: Gloria, the director of recreation was absolutely amazing. If this hotel didn’t have her, I don’t know how my stay would have gone. I ended up getting really sick and she took the time to check up on me and make sure I had anything and everything to help me. She took care to make sure my kids were taken care of at the kids club. She SAVED my trip! It’s unfortunate my entire trip was ruined by getting sick (nothing to do with the hotel) but at least she made it where I felt I was taken care of. The staff at coconut cove - soooo nice. The manager there always made sure I got anything I needed. He even made sure I got some homemade ginger tea! Thank you for that! The staff always smiled and it was a pleasure to go there. The beach : not much to see or do. I travel the World and had just been to some of the most beautiful water in the entire world so I am spoiled. But there’s nothing much to see there. To the point my husband never went to the beach and neither did my kids. You must go over to St. John for this. We had a boat rented but had to cancel due to my sickness. The food: Mediocre. I live in Miami. We spend a lot of time in the carribean. I know what to expect. It was hard to eat at all the restaurants here. Check in: we waited 45 min with 2 hangry little kids crying on the floor. Just wanting to go eat. I had to go find someone twice to either check us in ir just leave and try to go back later. Rooms: excellent! So much more but it won’t allow.

This was the first time staying at the Ritz Carlton. I've heard really good things from others. The grounds and the people were really good but not quite what I expected staying at the Ritz Carlton. I've heard about amazing VIP customer service. We didn't feel we got anything more than expected anywhere else.

We Loved Our Stay, The House Keepers were AMAZING, The Staff was so friendly, kind and helpful. The food was delicious! The pool and the entire resort is beautiful, I loved Latasha who works at the restaurant by the pool, michel & the entire staff who works at the pool, yourly in house keeping was an angel sent she helped me decorate the room for my daughters birthday ! Gio who works transportation was the best and so was Jabari both were so helpful and kind to us ! Everything was perfect! We are definitely coming back !

Service was outstanding, vegetation and water views were breathtaking. Excellent dining options, food was excellent. Our room was big and comfortable, clean, complete with amenities. It was difficult to leave such amazing place!

They lost my reservation and then tried to charge me double for the room. Service was sub par. The rooms are nice but the exterior is very run down. Definitely not a five star resort

Terrible food options. Drinks were warm. Everything was overpriced. Such a waste of money. Staff was rude. The only nice thing was the gym. Save your money and go somewhere else (St John much nicer)

There was roach in our room , staff drop large knife in pool while kids where in pool . Staff was very rude at times . Poor customer service . Rooms never got clean .
