Nice quiet location. Older well kept building. Lovely view from dining room. No A/C and room got quite warm. Our fault for not noticing this. Bed very firm. Breakfast good. No espresso drinks available.

Good experience to stay in a hotel which has more than a century, great breakfast that was served by the waiter, could choose more than 1 set of the breakfast The hotel is facing at lake Bled, quite chilled when you dine in the restaurant, but not very recommended to have the 4-course fine dining as it is expensive, only go with the free breakfast is enough

想像を超えた丁寧な部屋の管理、素敵な家具、カーテン、窓、壁の絵、そして、窓からの景色。このホテルの滞在が旅の目的になっても良いと思うくらい素敵でした。昔の建物、家具、管理次第なのだなと、思いました。 このところ、日本円の弱さから、ホテルのランクをおとし、大手のたくさんあるところに泊まってましたが、久々、きちんと、ホテルそのものを皆さんが大事にしているようなホテルにとまりました。旅ってこれだよなー、と、思える素敵な時間でした。ありがとうございました。

We had the most beautiful view out our room of Lake Bled. The hotel was old but very nice, Staff was great. Great stay.

This is a beautiful old hotel in a spectacular location with every room having a fabulous view of the lake and the church on the island; very clean, charming staff, lovely large bedroom and good bathroom; BUT. we had the hardest bed we have ever had AND for the three nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) we were staying, there was no bar and no restaurant functioning for anything other than breakfast. This is true every week and is not just a one-off. No nearby restaurants; you have to drive several miles to Bled town. Really the hotel felt closed down. The much promoted "Fine Dining" restaurant "1906" only opens for Wed - Saturday. Be careful which nights you book.

Det bästa med hotellet är att de har enkelrum med balkong och härlig utsikt över sjön. Jag reser en del på egen hand och på vissa ställen består enkelrummen av en skrubb utan utsikt och gärna med en stor fläkt eller hisstrumma utanför fönstret. Typ. Hotellet har en fine fine restaurang som heter 1906 och hotellets inredning är tidstypisk. Sängen var mycket skön om än väldigt smal men jag sover föredömligt stilla så det var inga problem. Frukosten var utomordentlig. Bordsservering med vita dukar och härliga rätter att beställa in. Jag som nu äter för att sänka mitt kolesterol är glad att slippa buffé med kakor och överflöd då köttet är svagt. Båda dagarna blev det en frasig granola med yoghurt, fruktsallad, valnötter och en croissant. Och rödbetsjuice. I källaren finns bastu och pool som var hyfsat stor - gissar 15x5 så det blev ändå några meters simning. Hotellet ligger bredvid en tågstation men värt att notera är att den inte frekventerar den linje som kör till Ljubljana (vilket jag trodde när jag bokade). Servicen på hotellet var minst sagt blandad - damen som hade morgonpasset var snorkig och trist medan mannen som arbetade på eftermiddagen var väldigt tillmötesgående. Hotellet ligger precis vid sjön och man kan välja om man vill gå medsols eller motsols in till byn. Det är en liten bit att gå - på dagen är det ok men på kvällen var det mörkt. Hotellet lånar ut bra cyklar. Det som var mindre bra var att ACn knappt fungerade- hade det varit sommar hade jag kreverat.

Boen que l'hôtel soit isolé, agréable séjour, chambre avec vue superbe sur le lac. Hotel disposant d'une tres belle piscine et offrant un petit-déjeuner très qualitatif. En revanche les matelas sont très durs et les oreillers trop moux et il manque un rideau occultant pour profiter d'une bonne nuit.

Quiet Stay with Great Food We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. One of the highlights was the excellent restaurant with beautiful views of Lake Bled. The breakfast was also a standout, with plenty of options and good quality. However, the rooms themselves were quite basic—nothing particularly special. The bathroom, in particular, was poorly designed. If you're tall or from North America, you might struggle with the shower layout, as it’s difficult to avoid getting water everywhere. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with good food and scenic views, this is a good option.

Nice to stay away from the Lake Bled mayhem. Up above the lake, great view of the church and easy access via the local road to the beach & lake. Breakfast was great! The staff was wonderful and the menu offered a a wide range of options, and we were able to try multiple local options. We would stay here again, since we found the local road past the train station to take us down to the restaurant, beach, row boats and campground. This route avoids all the Lake Bled traffic :-) What wasn't great? 1) The Bed(s). They were hard and very uncomfortable. 2) The patio door was missing the unlock level, so only one side opened. 3) Parking can be a little tricky if you arrive late in the evening. If you have kids or teens, you may want to stay closer to the lake. If you are looking for a little piece and quiet, a great view and easy access to everything. This is where I would stay :-)

Excelente hospedaje, el personal muy amable y las instalaciones de maravilla. Solo le falta mas lugares para estacionarse fuera de ahí la verdad es perfecto.

Bonito hotel en un maravilloso entorno. Cercano al pueblo y castillo de Bled aunque se debe ir en vehiculo. En 10 minutos a pie se puede bajar al lago. Muy buen desayuno con distintas opcjones a la carta

This hotel is a real gem. We had a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of the lake. We never had dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and all delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We also each had a Triglav Massage which was amazing. It’s a short walk down to the lake (though it’s uphill on the way back) - approx. 30min walk by the lake into town. We really enjoyed our stay here.
