Rooms were in pathetic condition. Staff were extremely useless when it came time to helping. I would never stay here again.

The room had study table but no chair, woken up early that are collecting towels . And their customer's service is VERY popr.

This property is very scenic and staff is very helpful. A large area kept very clean and maintained. Pool is very well located and garden is nice. Breakfast is good with changing items daily. The property has two issues. The WiFi is not good in the rooms and is not reliable overall. The sound of room air conditioning in the room is on higher side.

Staying at the Golden Tulip was fantastic. Historic charm, delightful staff, delicious food. It is an old hotel that was much more grand in yesterday year. While aged, it could use a few upgrades (my bed was a bit lumpy) but all in all, charming and convenient and well worth the price.

Very picturesque and friendly staff except 1 poolside staff member who felt who should not be there.

Supertrevligt bemötande och trevlig personal. Lugnt och tryggt läge för hotellet som är väldigt gammalt men med vacker utsikt och omgivningar. Bra och modernt gym med utsikt mot havet. Inte jättemodernt men absolut trevligt att bo på.

It was good experience, i like how considerate and accommodating the staffs are. I would go back there again, if i happen to visit Dar es salaam in the future.

Very nice ocean view but the property seems bit old.

They should replace the bathtub not safe for the elderly and aged. Have lifts that one can use to access the second floor. They should not be overwhelmed to serve clients during breakfast when they are hosting a big crowd, ensure that plates and cutlery are in constant supply.

A good location for vacation travelers. Good value for the cost. No access to the beach.

Det var bra. Måte vente lenge i resepsjonen ved innsjekk, ca. 30 min. Men rommet var ok og personalet hjelpsomt.

Das Hotel ist großzügig angelegt. Die Lobby ist groß, unser Zimmer war groß und hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit schönem Pool- und Meerblick. Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und vielfältig. Die Umgebung vom Hotel fühlte sich sicher an, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Uns wurde dennoch geraten nach 19.00 nicht draußen spazieren zu gehen, sondern eher ein Taxi zu nehmen. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

Quiet Location

We loved our stay and would gladly come back. The property is beautiful! The staff were friendly and helpful- we slept through dinner and were served a delicious fresh cooked meal in the middle of the night by room service with a smile! The pool area is perfect place to spend the day. Walking distance to coco beach . Transportation was easy to catch from the hotel. Breakfast served daily was fresh and delicious with many options. Thank you for the memorable stay !

Rezeptionist verscheucht einen mit einem im Sporttrikot bekleideten jungen Mann. Er trägt den Koffer ins erste Geschoss, da der Lift defekt. Bereits bei Ankunft lauter Technostampf auf dem Balkon zu hören, angeblich aus einem Nachbargebäude. Auf Rückfrage wird behauptet, dass der Lärm nur bis max. 10.30h zu hören sein wird. Auch um 2.50h und 4h in der Nacht in den schlecht lärmisolierten Räumen gut hörbar. Schlaf nicht möglich, da der Raum mit den Bässen leicht mitvibriert. Menschenleeres Restaurant im Hotel bietet am Abend mittelmäßig bis schlechtes Essen, allerdings mit freundlicher Bedienung.
