Very strategically located in a prime location within the City of Kisumu, the hotel is convenient in terms of proximity to banks, shopping malls, airport, coaches, hospitals and key Government and corporate installations. Very ideal for both corporate and leisure travelers. The Team at Sarova Imperial are quire professional, first great impression has to be Godwill and the exceptional Mercy at the Hotel's Main Reception and the Waiting Team at Florence Restaurant were absolutely amazing! The Hotel boasts of a number of fully appointed conference rooms ideal for various sizes. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable, the AC could be increased slightly 22 is still quite warm for the humid environment and occasionally gets uncomfortable. Overall, very highly rated at 9/10 on attention to detail, excellent food quality and dining variety, kudos to the chefs!!! and very welcoming and professional staff. Would be great to add at least water for half board meal plan. Thanks for being my go to choice whenever I am in Kisumu. Machiegni!

Great team

As always, our stay in Kisumu was excellent and welcoming by the staff. Pricey breakfast but very well done and prepared.(2,500 Kshs each). Lovely pastries at the coffee shop, if you are so tempted. Keep it up!!! Will be back, of course

Very highly recommend for bleisure. Very conveniently located, has all major amenities required for a City Hotel and service is quite professional and hospitality top notch.

Really comfortable stay

The staff are nice and many times the service was good. However, in few instances I had to wait a long time for a coffee or meal to be served, and the cleaning person threw away some medications from my side table. The gym is really not good.

Staff are professionally trained and offer excellent service and friendly support to guests. The hotel is very clean but the aircom in my room didn't work.

The restaurant staff could do with some additional training on service. Food was brought separately so some had to start & finish before others started. Additionally, the food was just placed on the table for us to figure out whose food was whose. Waitress had to call others to help her use the card machine. They kept passing us to close windows & turned off lights without the courtesy to be excused etc. We had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. Concierge staff was very kind & helpful.

Generally a good hotel. Only used the room and room service. Staff were excellent. Only thing I would say they should some mood lighting in the room for those that don’t enjoy overly bright lights. Enjoyed my one night stay

Check out time of 10 am is was too early especially if on holiday. Noon sounds better.
