The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. You have to go to the roof top open air restaurant- it is gorgeous and the food is excellent. The view of the city is amazing! Don’t miss it! Also the breakfast is very good! A wide variety and very healthy!

Ubumwe has always been a top choice for my visits to Rwanda

El lugar está bien, pero al llegar nos dijeron que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. No se podía ni respirar en la habitación. Mala atención. Finalmente después de mucho insistir logramos que nos cambiaran a una habitraciónb en la que si servía el aire

I had a wonderful time during my 4- night stay at Ubumwe Grand Hotel. Lovely service, comfortable rooms and very pleasant staff. Manzi ( Roof top Restaurant staff) was exceptional. Also the hotel has an amazing roof top view of Kigali both during the day and at night. I would highly recommend Ubumwe Grande Hotel in Kigali to anyone visiting Kigali. Kigali is indeed a lovely, clean city. I plan to stay at Ubumwe Grande Hotel when next I visit Kigali, Rwanda. Keep it up.

Amazing views and staff. Great mattress. Excellent croissants. Very walkable to many offices/shopping places nearby

My stay was very comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant is wonderful. Nice to have a small fitness center, too. The outlets in my room tripped twice, but maintenance was quick to reset them. A minor inconvenience. Universal outlets are convenient.

Excellent experience

I landed at 1:00 am, and they did not send by airport pick-up. After waiting for 30 minutes and calling them, they made arrangements to bring me to the hotel. This was despite sending them several emails and making an international call, and finally getting an email confirmation. Other than that night's front desk guy, all other front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.. When you shower the water floods the bathroom.

My first time visiting Rwanda and the staff at Ubumwe were very pleasant and nice. The facility is clean and located in an area with a lot of shops.

Está bien en general, pero hay detalles en las habitaciones que no funcionan: se atora la puerta, o el aire acondicionado no funciona. La alberca estaba cerrada por reparaciones y no se avisó al reservar. Buen ambiente en el roof top restaurant.

Great hotel with rooftop pool and gym. Rooms and apartments are available for larger groups. Right next to Kigali city market - 5min walk. Great staff. There is some construction in the area, so check for your room location.

The property was very clean. We felt very safe.

Staff unfriendly and not helpful at all. Outdated rooms and overall. They were late for my airport pickup. Breakfast there were few vegan options and I had to get my own coffee while many others around me were served.
