It was a good 3 night stay. The food, entertainment staff were excellent. Will return.

You can tell the workers really wanted you to enjoy your stay. The environment for beautiful and safe. Overall 10/10 experience

I recently stayed at Hotel Riu Ocho Rios and had such a great time! From start to finish, the experience was fun and relaxing. The drinks were perfectly balanced — not too strong, not too weak — and the bartenders kept them coming with a smile. While I wasn’t too fond of the food, I appreciated that there were plenty of options to choose from, so there was always something to try. What truly stood out was the staff — they were phenomenal! Everyone I encountered was friendly, kind, and really helped make the trip enjoyable. And the highlight of my stay? The shows every night! They were entertaining, engaging, and the perfect way to end each day. I’m already looking forward to planning another trip back!

I stopped at other RIU properties before and has already had great experience but this was by far was the worst. Some staff was very rude and

I arrived on Thursday waited over 3 hours for my room then when I finally got to the room I had a leak coming from the ceiling I reported it twice it wasn’t fixed until Saturday night that was unacceptable

Staff is friendly and helpful. Spa was great. As far as the view, Gods work on full display.

The hotel was beautifully maintained. We appreciated the entertainment in the evenings but the production shows were very amateurish. The bands were very enjoyable and the beach party was our favorite night. The food and drinks were good and the Kulinarium French restaurant was very good with excellent ambiance but the Steak House and the Italian restaurant did not have a good environment. The beach is beautiful and the water sports were fun. All around, I would recommend the Hotel RIU Ocho Rios

Entertainment was good. Poor food quality, if you was not at the buffet when it first open food was out, or poor quality

Some of the dining room staff at ST Ann restaurant DOES NOT like black people including their own Jamaican. I sat down one evening and watch one of the server clean tables except the one that my family and I was sitting. In addition I went for lunch and had to be asking various workers for drinks because again the server was ignoring our table. Some of the servers are GREAT but those two servers are disgusting. I have stayed at RIU Aquarelle and it was by far the BEST experience.

The rooms are too far from the main area and dining.

Staff was amazing, food was good and drinks were good.

Resort stay was lovely I will say that the pool needs to be better cleaned was a lot of hair and foam substance floating in water

PROS: - smaller resort - stunning beach - great buffet food - Amazing entertainment every night, theme party once a week (either white or neon party, check the RIU app to see which one ahead of time) - Amazing friendly staff - 2 adults only pools - Fun activities planned throughout the day, something for everyone CONS: - No nightclub - 24 hour sports bar however only had dj some nights, therefore after the entertainment shows were over not much to do afterwards. We had to leave the resort to go to bars/clubs. - The restaurants on site were just okay, buffet was better. OVERALL RATING: 8/10

It’s ok. Not recommended for a 1 night business traveller

Property was well kept and secure. My only problem was the food. Need to top it up a notch.
