I was expecting a good service, but that was the last thing I received. The restaurants were closed only the buffet was open. The employees didn’t do any effort to make us feel that we were on vacation instead they were rude and only 3 of the employees were nice to us. Horrible service overall and I would never recommend anyone that I know to visit that place. A lot other customers felt the same way as I was in the pool 2 ladies came to my and asked me to translate for them that they wanted a drink and the bartender say they need to get out of the pool and come over to the other side if they want a drink. That was terrible to the point that I felt so bad that I got out of the pool and went to get the ladies a drink my self when I wasn’t working there. But i just thought if they were my family I wouldn’t like anyone to have that nasty attitude with my grandparents. I hope someone do something about it. Because I went to guess service and complained and nothing was done. Never coming back!! I don’t go on vacation to be treated like that. That place is over priced (bad service) and charging a lot of money.

One of the best on that area

Pase un momento muy incomodo con el staff de la reception. Reserve las habitaciones de camino al hotel, venia de Samana a Puerto Plata, super cansados. No prohibieron el acceso ya que teniamos un menor en el grupo familia, quienes no recieben identificacion, hasta las 18 años; Perla , recepcionista, con cara de aburrida desde que lleganos y Argenis, manager, no presentaron ningun tipo de opciones. Para el colmo se quedaron con el dinero de la reserva y Que tenia contactar Expedian para el reenvolso; quienes tambien dice que tienen que investigar el asunto; no utlizamos el servicio y aparente mente quieren quedarse con los casi $500USD. NO VUELVO A ESTE HOTEL NI LOCO.

The property itself is really nice. The service is excellent. However, they need to work on their entertainment for it’s a bit antiquated. They are also selling vacation club memberships and because of their approach found it to be annoying.
