The staff were super helpful and professional. The rooms were good. The lounge and restaurant were also excellent.

Rooms were part of a small villa with no common space Not very clean . Bedsheets didn’t smell fresh Slow service But staff was friendly

Pool was great. Lifeguards very helpful and friendly. Room comfy and spacious. The hot tub wasn’t working in the bathroom. Very helpful and friendly staff. Always went out of their way to help.

Resort has a nice location with a large clean infinity pool. However, resort generally not well maintained, albeit generally clean in most areas there were many facilities broken or in disrepair and sun loungers were dirty as were the pool tables. The water feature in the villa garden was full of debris, the back door onto my terrace did not open. There were finger prints all over the fridge. Lots of broken chairs and loungers by the pool. It’s a shame as it has the basis for being a great resort, it just needs better maintenance. I tried calling reception many times the night before my departure to arrange my luggage to be collected, there was no answer, in the morning after finally speaking to reception I waited 10 minutes then gave up and walked (my villa was furthest possible from reception) that said the receptionist was then very helpful arranging a taxi. Also found sign posting around the resort to be lacking, it took me a few attempts to find the door from the pool into the main reception building. I really wish I could have rated it higher, there were just too many down points

Definitely not a 5 star hotel

The hotel location is excellent very close to Water Garden beach and restaurants. The facilities are not well maintained, the pool was not functioning, it worked the second day of our stay, only one restaurant was working, the spa had no therapists, and the kids playing area was open without anything inside, just an outdoor trampoline. The pool, when it worked, is excellent, the service and the view are great! There is sand so the kids loved it! The room furniture is a little old, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom had no hot water and the jacuzzi was leaking.

It is like a dream come true ❤️. People are friendly and helpful. You are seen, they come to you asking if they can help. The room is beautiful, the infinity pool is wonderful. We have had the best holiday ever💕❤️💕.

The Palavra Resort has an outstanding location in an island. It has a nice infinity beach pool, a few restaurants with decent food quality. The Service was very kind. However the rooms are not 5 star: the interior design is outdated, we stayed in a Suite with no view at all. No amenities or minibar.
