We stayed for 4 nights and to us it's a clear 5 star rating. Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and clean, excellent food, staff is very very nice, great beachside location. Very good-looking facilities overall. Regarding the beachside experience, the area with beds and parasols is slightly elevated from the beach itself and the water, which provides a wall that "shields us" from the insisting vendors. This was a reason for us to choose this hotel and it turned out great. Also, the hotel has guards in the area. Of course, when walking next to the water, the vendors approach you, but it's not too annoying. Beachside, staff regularly offers us drinks, which is nice. Beach towels are comfy and bath towels are quite good. Drinking water is provided abundantly. Every day at around 7pm a housekeeper would come to our room to spray it with repellent. We had no bugs all week. The weekly poolside dinner had outstanding food! Things to watch out for: we're fine with it, but you may not be OK with many crows flying close to the tables and attempting to fetch food immediately after people leave their table. But this part is hard for the hotel to combat. However, there are some 5-10 cats wandering around the premises which are fed by the hotel (and by guests) - this is also fine by us, but may not be the case for others.

Rooms clean, staff friendly, good service and always with a smile. Never seems crowded and always sunbeds etc available. Not much for kids to do although we don’t have kids I would say this is more of an adults destination in general. We stayed after doing safari in Kenya and paid less than those booking a package and then doing day safaris to mainland. So booking separately works out better all round. Beach is tidal and a walk on the reef with a local is well worth it discuss a price or give $10-$20 and I guarantee you will see more than walking alone

We loved this stay. Perfectly clean, well maintained, excellent food, very friendly staff. We spent more time at the quieter mama pawpaw pool. A wonderful stay and we'd love to come back.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff and beautiful surroundings. Choice of food was a little bit limited compare to other hotels we stayed in but everyting they cooked was very tasty.Best food I ever had in all inclusive hotel.

The local team consistently provided exceptional and amiable service. The hotel's service was outstanding, ranking among the best I have encountered as a traveler. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr Rajiv for his assistance with a minor injury that got my child, and to Madame Marie, the director, for her support.

All the things were amazing. Only two things could be better. The entertainment team could be more proactive inviting us for the activities (we are on vacation, so we don’t look at a schedule) and going walk to the beach was almost always a bad experience, there were a lot of guys trying to sell things, following us and disturbing. I know that this is not a matter of the hotel, but it decreases our experience in Zanzibar.

El hotel es muy lindo, la atención e instalaciones excelente, destaco mucho al personal de restaurantes y bares, muy cordiales y amables. Aspectos menos positivos, la playa tiene muchos vendedores que no permiten disfrutarla cómodamente y el traslado de regreso al aeropuerto que habíamos coordinado y pagado con antelación llegó 40 minutos tarde y el chofer nos comentó que se les había olvidado agendarlo.

Wir waren vom 28.04.bis 10.05. zu Gast. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und besitzt viele Grünflächen und sogar einen eigenen Kräutergarten und Obstbäume. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das stets aufmerksame und äußerst zuvorkommende Personal, wie zum Beispiel Ally, Ramia, Helen und Bertha- alle hier aufzuzählen würde den Rahmen jedoch sprengen. Auch das Essen in den Restaurants wird immer frisch zubereitet und ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel nur empfehlen!

I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The food at lunch at the beach bar was very good. The room was beautiful and huge. The only thing that was a little lacking was snacks between meals and the fact that it is a little remote but overall everything was great.

The staff and service was amazing very attentive, professional and friendly. There were many activities in the resort even though we were there during low season. The food in the beginning of our stay was amazing, but the choices reduced by the end of the stay as there were not many guests in April. We however enjoyed the calm environment and the beautiful scenery.

Das Hotel war wahnsinnig schön. Die Restaurants wirklich gut, das Personal und die Betreuung ebenfalls. Die Aussicht war ebenfalls überwältigend. Einziger kleiner Minus Punkt war dke Stromversorgung, mehrmals ist der Strom f0r bis zu 5 h ausgefallen, was eigentlich in so einem Hotel nicht passieren dürfte. Ansonste eine Empfehlung.

We zouden 5 sterren geven voor het resort, hoe leuk het is om tijd te vertoeven aan het zwembad, aan zee (neem er wel de verschillende strandverkopers bij), in de verschillende restaurants. Het personeel is door de band ook heel vriendelijk. Wij hadden echter een garden view kamer (nr. 803 om precies te zijn) en door de hoge vochtigheidsgraad was het er altijd heel klam en hing er een muffe geur. Er stond schimmel op verschillende muren, de spiegels waren heel vaak uren na een douche nog aangedampt en het vocht voelde en zag je zo op het plafond, muren en grond. Dat alles is niet alleen heel onaangenaam maar ook ongezond. Dat vonden we echt geen 5 sterren waardig. Geen idee of dit ook zo is op kamers op een verdieping, maar lijkt me alleszins het vragen waard als je er boekt.

Tout est parfait : infrastructure très bien entretenue et bien équipée. Personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins. La piscine est assez grande mais pas facile de nager car il y a beaucoup d’activités liées à la piscine et on a pied partout mais bon voilà, rien de grave. La nourriture est très qualitative et variée pour un ensemble de cette taille, bravo. Mon seul bémol est d’avoir perdu 2 jours à l’arrivée car notre chambre n’avait plus d’électricité et on a été transférés à 4 dès l’arrivée dans un hôtel voisin correct mais d’un niveau bien inférieur en attendant de pouvoir revenir. Ça fait un peu mal vu le prix et la longueur du voyage mais voilà, c’est ainsi. Nous avons bénéficié d’une excursion offerte.

Extremely nice hotel, the staff is really service minded and the food is great! The beach is nice, they should work on the engagement part from ”the beach boys” that gets kind of annoying after a while. The room was amazing and cleaning was always superb!
