Unfortunately, this resort left a lot to be desired. It was very run down and dated. The halls are carpeted and multiple times we walked past emesis .. so you can imagine how dirty it looks. The food was excellent. One staff member at the pizza restaurant by calypzo was incredibly rude and ruined the trip for me. Please do better with your staff.

We have been to the Hyatt ziva and zellara Jamaica 4 times , we love the place . Overall I still give the whole experience a 4 star . We just got back April 6 2025 , and I have several recommendations to management and Hyatt group . I did notice the hotel is in need for a little update , there is a musty smell in hallways and bedrooms, no matter how much the cleaning crew cleans the smell does not seem to go away , the carpet is need to be replaced .we noticed that 90 percent of staff are happy and make an effort, but there are 10 percent of bartenders that are rude and bitter especially the bar by the buffet . All waitresses I dealt with were amazing . Room was always clean but fridge was not replenished daily but maybe once or twice in a week . Cocoanut cart server is amazing and super nice The gym is amazing clean and everyone there is nice .finally dinning experience is an 8, French restaurant is great , buffet is also very good and jerk chicken shack is amazing.Italian was a 7. It seems like the food quality decreased but still good . I wished you have fresh juices instead of all of the infused water, I know it is difficult to see negative comments in a review but I say it with love because I want to be able to go back again and enjoy myself more .

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms. They are incredibly large, offering plenty of space to move around, with large windows that let in natural light and give the room a bright and airy feel. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the amenities I needed, including a generous seating area and ample storage. The cleanliness of the hotel was also top-notch. The housekeeping team clearly takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. Every corner of the room was immaculate, and the bathroom was exceptionally well-kept with high-quality toiletries.

Property is very close to Montego Bay Airport. The beach is protected from waves and easily swimmable. There’s a good variety of food open anytime of the day. My only criticism is that connecting room doors are thin so if you end up with a noisy neighbor, it can be a little loud.

it was ok. food was not great. drinks were meh. the pool was great, the beach was great... the buffett as good and consistent. jerk hut was really good . its an all inclusive.. and felt like that

We stayed at **Hyatt Ziva Montego Bay** from **March 13th - March 17th, 2025**. Overall, it was a good experience. The **food and drinks** were consistently good throughout the resort, with the **Jerk Hut** being a standout option. Our **check-in experience was underwhelming**—both the **front desk and valet service** could be more welcoming and proactive in assisting guests upon arrival. A better introduction to the resort and its amenities would have been helpful. However, on the **third day**, we interacted with **Onique at the front desk**, and she significantly improved our experience. We had two separate reservations, and she made every effort to extend our existing room. When that wasn’t possible, she ensured we got our new room as early as possible to minimize disruption. She also arranged for a **nice ocean-facing room**, which we appreciated. A downside of our stay was the experience with the **Palya representatives**, who were **overly aggressive** in pushing their services. At one point, they were **rude and even raised their voice at my wife**, which was completely unnecessary. Resort management should address this to ensure guests can enjoy a relaxed stay without feeling pressured. We stayed in **Building 2**, where the rooms felt somewhat **dated**, while our friends in **Building 3** had more updated accommodations. If booking, a room in uilding 3 may be a better choice. Despite some areas for improvement, we had a pleasant stay overall.

Some of the staff were so pleasant and customer service was generally good. Most of the food was very good. Drinks were poured "generously" The room was beautiful and and acceptably clean. (Not great, but not gross). Grounds were well kept and waiters and housekeeping throughout were mostly accomodating, pleasant, and prompt. Our stay included the butler service. If it had not been for Tony Ann, one of the team (of 3) assigned to our room, i would have totally regretted the extra cost. She was amazing, attentive, professional. She went beyond expectations of attention to our needs. That said, i felt like most of the following was because of the other two butlers: (sorry, not naming. Not trying to get anyone fired) Some of the amenities fell short. Daily bar and snacks promised, but overlooked even on request. Closest ice machine was out of order the entire 6 days. Request for supply took a very long time.
