Delicious food, friendly staff, gorgeous beachfront!

Welcoming staff, clean rooms, lots of food and entertainment options! We had a great stay!

Staff and the hotel were amazing

Zero personalized service, limited good options. No food or bar service at pool or beach. No reservations allowed for dinner. Buffet was like being on a carnival cruise. Hotel is not taken care of, for the money you pay to stay here I would expect exceptional customer service and catering to your needs. We had 5 couples that spent a total of $25,000+ for a week, it was disappointing. I love Aruba but wound never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel advertises a younger, lively atmosphere, but most guests were 65+, so it’s not ideal for anyone in their 30s/40s looking for energy. We originally booked room 1302 (Elite Club) with a true oceanfront view. On our 3rd day, the door key stopped working. Maintenance said it would take 20 minutes… yet after an hour they told us they needed more parts and we had to move rooms entirely. This took a couple of hours out of our day between waiting, packing, and relocating, which was extremely inconvenient. We were placed in room 1001, also an Elite Club room, but nowhere near the quality of what we paid for. The “ocean view” was minimal and mostly faced the other Riu building. The bar in the room was also not replenished properly. Nighttime entertainment was not great either. Given the clear downgrade and the disruption caused by an issue outside of our control, I strongly believe we should be accommodated or compensated. The replacement room was not equivalent in value or view to the room we originally booked and paid for. The Elite Club food and drinks were great, but overall I wouldn’t recommend this resort to guests in their 30s/40s expecting a modern, lively environment.

Hotel expansive and overall VERY CLEAN!!! Our Elite room large, very clean with great amenities. Highly recommend Elite level stay. Room cleaned and restocked every day. Staff very nice and helpful. Outstanding variety of very tasty food. Best buffet I’ve ever seen with an enormous variety of delicious food. Beautiful beach and pool. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well kept, the room was clean, and the food was pretty good at the buffet and very good at most of the restaurants but one.

The buffet food was not great. It was very difficult to get into the al carte restaurants so you kucky to eat in them. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The staff were awesome and tried to be very accommodating. Veey professional and nice. The room has issues with Ac and Tv.

The whole experience af Riu Palace Antillas was great! It’s worth it to upgrade to a partial ocean view or full ocean view suite. We were on the 17th floor at it was amazing. The resort is impeccably clean and staff are constantly working to maintain the cleanliness. The gym is well stocked with equipment and wasn’t busy - I was there every day. We loved that we could leave the resort and walk into town to go to the different shops. The beach is fantastic, white sand and turquoise water! Aruba is very windy so gals with long hair will want to prepare to have to wear their hair up every day so it isn’t blowing in your face all day. The food at Riu is awesome, my only complaint is that the dinner buffet opens at 6:30pm and I’m more of an early eater so would have appreciated if the dinner buffet started at 5 or 5:30pm. The food staff are amazing; they remembered who we were and what our drink orders were right down to what we put in our coffee. Lastly, I hope they eventually change the room keys to be attached to the resort bracelet. The key cards deactivate if placed against a phone and we had to reactivate our cards a couple times throughout our week long visit.

Very friendly staff and clean room. Room service or requests were promptly handled. Beautiful views and plenty to do. The renovated spa was amazing and would highly recommend as well!

This was a very nice place. The place is incredibly clean and well run. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. We loved staying at the RIU Palace Antilles and would highly recommend staying here. We will be back!
