This was the second time staying at the Hotel Distil. The first time was kind of magical - room with a view overlooking main street was so cool - the old facade and steel girders are a sight to see. We felt special as soon as walked in. Thats hard to beat. This time, I opt’d for a “city view” - it was pretty dull by comparison. The room was nice and clean, with a great shower and bathroom. The beds are a step above most hotels - very comfortable with supportive pillows! The Repeal restaurant attached to the hotel has an amazing bar with great bartenders. They offer suggestions and tailor the experience to you. The restaurant itself was nice. We had dinner one night and breakfast two days - food was delicious and service was good. The menu seemed limited and not very exciting. The Hotel Distil is a great place to stay when visiting downtown Louisville. The location is the best - with walking distance to so much. The hotel staff were helpful, engaged and all seem to like working there. That speaks volumes.

Hotel and rooms are very clean, the staff are really friendly, and the area around the hotel is walkable. The hotel is conveniently located next to bars and restaurants (there are some on the same block and across the street). In the room, the bed was comfy and there was plenty of ample lighting and amenities. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great stay and staff were great

Conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Yumm Center, this clean and modern hotel was perfect for our night out.

The staff was wonderful, giving excellent service. Only downfall was parking location was across the street with nowhere to unload at the hotel.

The property was amazing! Walking distance to many distilleries, restaurants and bars. The staff was excellent and gave many great recommendations on things to do. We loved breakfast and dinner at Repeal.

We loved the service, location, and hotel finishes. It felt like a bourbon experience, which is exactly what we wanted. The restaurant, Repeal, is an excellent steak house that I highly recommend.

Valet parking is a must! $45 per day. Great people, super helpful, rooms are updated and nice.
