Highly recommend this guesthouse. Spotless with attention to detail. Delicious breakfast using local produce. Homemade Granola and bread. Received a warm welcome . We will certainly visit again next time we visit Cornwall.

A delightful place to spend some holiday time — with a very friendly and helpful host, and many lovely little touches around the bedroom and dining room. The breakfasts were both generously and impressively done! We’ll be back, when next we visit the far end of Cornwall…

Mandalay is a short walk from the town centre of Helston a lovely small Cornish town, itself a few minutes drive from the coast. Staying here you’re well situated with good travel links for all of the region’s tourist attractions. Accomodation itself is quite and peaceful with no noise from the local area and kept immaculately clean by the hosts who are extremely friendly and welcoming, in addition the room provided all the amenities you could need for a short break. Breakfast was also a winner, a good quality full English, what more could you ask for? Fresh baked bread and pastries I hear you say? Well you’re catered for there too. If you hadn’t guessed my partner and I had a fantastic stay. Was her first visit to the area and I’m glad to say she’s pleased to go back. Welcoming and friendly. Rooms very clean and well equipped with tea/coffee, toiletries and hair dryer. Nicely decorated with attention to detail. Breakfast freshly cooked with a wide choice of cereals, fruit, etc. Mandaley is a short (20-30 minutes) drive to many local tourist sites such as Lizard Point, St Michael's Mount. Nearby there are several pubs, cafes and fastfood places, as well as supermarkets.
