Food was nice. Staff were friendly.

The sink had a broken plug which resulted in all of the waste water staying in the sink unless you remove the plug. Unfortunately when the plug was removed it was covered in limescale and not a very pleasant sight.

Review: Tell Us About Your Stay I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was cozy, with the radiator keeping it warm and comfortable. The decor was nice, though there were some signs of wear and tear, such as a few holes in the walls. The bathroom was spacious, but privacy could be improved. One downside was the view from room 5, which faced a car dealership with bright floodlights that the curtains didn’t fully block at night. On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would recommend this hotel to coworkers visiting clients in the area, despite the minor drawbacks.

Really enjoyable stay 4 minute drive from the Citadel, room was clean and quiet. Gorgeous food, lovely staff especially Dean, went above and beyond.

The room was showing a few signs of wear and tear. There was also a party on when we arrived on the Friday which didn’t finish until around midnight so it was a little bit difficult to get to sleep.

Brilliant stay. Lovely big bedroom with comfortable king bed. Delicious good with some surprises on the menu. Cleanliness was faultless!

Good clean room, bed very comfy. Only negative was bathroom was rather chilly. Excellent base for exploring the Merseyside coast.

Very ckean and efficient stay. Welcoming and helpful staff. Decor and condition overall good, location was perfect for me, close to my destination next morning. Friend ate in the bar that wvening saidvthe food was great, it did look very nice and generous portion. Breakfast was good quality and on time. Overall great experience, would stay again without hesitation.

Absolutely loved our stay, couldn’t fault anything. Room, Facilities, Parking, Restaurant/Breakfast were all perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Food are good and staff are lovely. Unfortunately the room is next to main road and very noisy, curtain does not block all light. Woke up every time when there is emergency vehicle passes by. Basins drain partial blocked, need to wait a while for it to drain once used. Worst is shower water is lukewarm, really didn’t enjoy it.

Stayed here a couple of times, but the room I was in number 1 , had a fan of some sort on and off all night, so not a very good sleep, the towel rail in the bathroom was so hot it burned you if you caught yourself on it , couldn’t have a shower as water was scalding hot , and the cold water wasn’t coming through! A very disappointing stay

Good accommodation and great food but the shower in both mine and my friends room both stopped and started every 10 seconds or so. Apart from that it was a great stay.

Second stay here, definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good place to stay with great food and fantastic staff.
