The views at the property are exceptional. It’s gives a cabin vibe. It’s a great choice if you want to unplug and relax. I went alone and I felt very peaceful. It’s a small property and the only thing to do onsite is really eat, relax and take in the views. I definitely also recommend that you only select this property if you’re driving. There’s nothing in walking distant. Frenchman cove, Reach Falls and blue lagoon is about a 25 mins drive. I did both Frenchman cove and Blue lagoon the same day as they’re 5 mins away from each other. I did Reach Fall separate as it’s the opposite direction. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Sea Cliff was relaxing. It's a beautiful property with relaxing views of the ocean from almost all the rooms. The bed was large and comfortable. The food was good we had breakfast included with our stay. The staff was warm and friendly. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house instead of a resort.

Charmingly rustic experience and fabulous cliffside views from everywhere on the property-- but with virtually no operational services or amenities such as the pool or an open bar I'm not sure what I got for the cost

Terrence is horrible… and the fact 2 people stopped me to tell me to leave the property to eat food was disturbing.

I recently booked several rooms over the past weekend as my family traveled to Jamaica for a funeral. We had a few mishaps on our part, but the staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and Terrence went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious, and even though the pool was a little low on water, my kids still had a great time. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, this was a wonderful experience during a difficult time, and we truly appreciate the hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.

Never going back! The owner was very rude and their policies are ridiculous. Breakfast doesn't start until 8:30 a.m. and the office doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. They take their last order at the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 8. If you mess up their towels with make up, you are charged for it!

Sea cliff is an excellent get away spot for persons who want to explore Portland and its surrounding areas. Our room was excellent and the dining options were great and delicious. We have no complaints whatsoever. Shout out to the manager Ms Ricketts she was truly attentive to our needs

The Resort, nestled right above the cliffs overlooking the sea. The breeze was so nice and relaxing. We drove in the resort and could picture the glory of it, but that was about it. Our room’s location was awesome. We had a triple doors that can open up to the balcony that house a jacuzzi tub. But we couldn’t open all the way as curtains were fixed so they couldn’t be pulled all the way back to get full access. Bomber. Our view of the sea wand coast was awesome. Just breath taking. The room could have been awesome but it as well as the property is old and in need of some well needed good renovations Things were just not giving resorts. It is stayable, we made the most of it and enjoyed ourselves because of who we are. They offered breakfast with only one Jamaican per day. After breakfast there is nothing to do. If you don’t have a car to explore outside you are cooked. The pool don’t even seem inviting as the water is way below the tiled level to hold on to the edge. They have outside seated area but that’s it. U will just be sitting with nothing to do. There isn’t even a bar to get some drinks. There offer dinner which ends by 8 and def that’s it for the rest of the day. It’s in a remote part where there’s much driving it do to get to anything and to make it a little more difficult there was road work going on and made the drive much longer. The staff is great they did what was expected

We stayed for one night. Arrived at 7pm. Restaurant closes at 8 and stops taking orders by 7pm. The views are amazing and the sound of the Caribbean Sea is ceaseless and primordial. That’s the best thing this hotel has going on for it. It’s rustic which is by design but also is in need of updating ( paint chipping , cracks etc). The beds were comfortable and there is ac in rooms. The breakfast is limited but what we had ( Salish rundown and cooked “food” was good. I did yoga and exercises on the balcony in the morning. Overall I would stay again mostly because of the Caribbean Sea

Disappointing Experience Despite the Beautiful View The view from the room at sea cliff resort in Portland, Jamaica was undeniably stunning — the natural scenery is the property's strongest asset. Unfortunately, my overall experience did not reflect the level of hospitality one would expect from a destination known for warm service and relaxation. Upon arrival, I was unexpectedly required to pay a security deposit that was not disclosed prior to check-in. The front desk insisted this was included in my Expedia confirmation email, but despite checking thoroughly, I could not find any such mention. While I ultimately agreed to pay—understanding the need to protect linens from potential damage—it was frustrating and felt poorly handled. The real disappointment came at check-out, when I was made to wait for a housekeeper to retrieve a sheet and point out a minor dirt mark, apparently in an attempt to withhold part or all of my deposit. This experience was uncomfortable and quite frankly insulting. Are linens no longer washed between guests? This approach is not in line with standard hospitality practices, and it left a very negative final impression. It's unfortunate that such a beautiful property is undermined by unclear policies and poor guest relations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and checkout procedures going forward.

Friendly staff, clean property but most of all the location is just beautiful and breathtaking

Had to change rooms because of lack of warm water, sharp bed edges, barking dogs etc etc. Other room was better but had a television attached to the ceiling in the middle at 1.85 cm ! Roofs are made out of Aluminium plates...so every drop of rain can be heard.. Restaurant is ok but overpriced. So are the rooms
