Very friendly and accommodating. Great for beach goers. Live entertainment and close a variety of activities.

The room was clean. Room has microwave, TV,refrigerator & coffee maker..I enjoyed my stay.will visit again.

There were so many amazing aspects to our stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel staff incredibly warm, very very accommodating, welcoming and overall amazing. Furthermore, the rooms had gorgeous artwork on the walls, the room, balcony and bathrooms were clean, spacious for three guests and came stocked with towels and soap. Our room, the Hummingbird, included a kitchenette and tv which were much appreciated. Additionally, the restaurant staff were friendly as well. We were able to dine on the beach with no problems. Finally, beach umbrellas and chairs were also available free of cost for us, guests. There were also lots of spots to take pictures. The beach was spotless, there wasn’t even seaweed on the beach (we visited in June) I will back to Roots Bamboo Resort.

Honestly, if you’re not looking for something extremely lavish but still cozy for a nice trip to Jamaica, I’d recommend this place. They have events different days of the week and it’s right on the beach so you don’t have to leave the resort too much unless you’re exploring with the locals. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Beach, Delightful Staff, Loud but cool-vibe party Mon, Wed & Friday night 10-1:30am. I really enjoyed Roots…

Way to loud. There was a special concert provided mostly for locals the night we stayed. We were prepared for loud music til midnight or 2 am, but it was loud until past 4 in the morning. They should have had security get people to quiet down so the paying hotel guests could get a little sleep. I will never stay there again.

Number one was their very friendly, caring and helpful staff. Truly outstanding. The setting is good and the rooms are standard but very clean. Very satisfactory for the price. Overall, a great place to stay in Negril.
