This property is really off the beaten path on an industrial type of back road. You definitely need a rental car. Lots of stray dogs barking all night and several large dogs on the property. The suite was clean although the bathroom had no ventilation so it was humid and damp. It doesn’t have a “private” beach. It has a fenced in and locked deck across the road, but the water isn’t really suitable for swimming. It’s shallow and weedy with lots of silt covering the weeds because of the boat traffic from the marina down the road. It also backs onto the airport so the planes are constantly flying over, although strangely it wasn’t too noisy. It’s a place you would just use as a base to explore the island, but definitely wouldn’t stay there during the day as there is nothing to do.

Great location, price and atmosphere.

I read the reviews of other people staying here and booked it for a week. The moment I checked in, i didn’t want to be there. The place smelled of sewer as soon as you entered and inside it was dirty and just absolutely atrocious.the bathroom was dirty and the sliding door didn’t stay closed. Dogs running around everywhere and barking at all hours, bugs and flies everywhere in our room. I would definitely not stay here again. if I ever come back to Aruba, I will definitely spend a little more and book at a bigger resort to get more cleanliness and better amenities and be much closer to the beach. Although the owners/management were quick to respond if we had questions. I would highly recommend finding a place to stay in Palm Beach. Best area for beaches, restaurants, shopping and just strolling the streets. There is also no private beach.

Excellent suites! Beautiful property!

It was cute, nice individual pool for each suite. The AC was very loud and the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were very flat. The location was not great. Good value for money. Coffee was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Vistalmar Ocean Suites. The suite was clean; the property is amazing and from the beginning of my stay, Angelique was in touch with me. She is very helpful, provides useful information regarding the property and areas to eat, rent chairs, etc. We truly enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back.

From New York Our first time in Aruba and it was paradise!! The accommodation in Vistalmar Ocean Suites was perfect 👌 Clean, Quiet, and attendance was top notch. We learned so much! We stayed in a mini suite in the back part of the property. The design of the suite was very thoughtful. Each small item in the suite was something a guest would likely need but nothing more. It was set up just right for a compact space. There is a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave/oven, dishwasher so that you can cook in the suite. There are also exactly what dishes, pots, pans, utensils you will need and nothing more. Each of the small suites at the back have their own small private pool plus there are two more pools: a large one in the back with a cabana and a medium one in the front. You can use these at any time of the day and there is a freshwater shower to rinse off from the chlorine or from being at a beach. There are 3-4 dogs for adoption that live on the property. They seem a little scary when you first arrive but become friends quickly. We did not have a car but used taxis part of the time (TAS Taxi Address Service) does not rip you off but uses published rates. The rest of the time we used e-bikes from Tri-bike Aruba. It takes 15-20 min on e-bike to get to Mangel Halto which is a really nice beach. We snorkelled there and enjoyed looking at all the fish. It was a 15 e-bike ride to get to C-mart which is a great supermarket/everything store that has everything. A 1-2 minute walk down the road takes you to The Fish House which is nice restaurant that we went to several times.

The place was super clean and trendy. The only issue I didn’t like was the pool jets and lights are not monitored by the individual studios. You have to submit a request and then wait for them to respond by the time the jet for the pool return back on it was two hours before checkout. Also, the bathroom sink was slightly stopped up so the water was draining very slow overall a nice place if I ever visit Aruba again and plan on staying there.

Loved the property! I will definitely rent here again! I love that every smaller villa has its own pool, the beach is across the road, but its on a dead end street, so its not a lot of traffic at all, and its in the bay area of the beach. Its so peaceful! There are dogs, but they dont bother you at all.

Very beautiful property we had a lovely stay and amazing experience. Smooth check in and check out and Very clean. We would definitely stay here again next time.
