Great cabin for exploring the golden circle. Felt like you were experiencing the country but in reality was only 1 minute off the highway. Perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Cabin is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils if you want to cook supper and breakfast.

Nice view, But there were many mosquitoes outside the house.

Never got the lockbox info but found the cabin anyways. Very steep and narrow road up to the cabin. A Google search found a phone number, and Felix was very helpful and gave us the code so we got in. The cabin in nice but lacks a microwave oven. Grocery stores are 25 minutes away so plan ahead.

INCREDIBLE! thats all thats needed to explain this cabin! Secluded in the middle of no where, located minutes from strokkur and gullfoss. If you plan on driving yourself this is the place to stay. Its centrally located for all of the main attractions. This is the place for those wanting to explore and be off the beaten track it truly is incredible

Beautiful area and easy to access tourist destinations. Cabin was perfect for our family of 7.
