We stayed in the triple room for one night. At the price we paid for 3 people, with a really good breakfast included, we were very happy. Free parking with great directions to find the carpark. Easy check-in and warm welcome. The room was at the front of the hotel and we found it quiet for a Friday night. TV, Kettle with plenty of tea and coffee. The window opened nice and wide so we could get a breeze through. The mattresses were very soft, not great for me but my daughter loved them. The floorboards creaked a lot but it is an old building with character, so to be expected. Large shower cubicle with lovely hot water and good pressure and a few bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of towels. The breakfast was the star of the show though! Help yourself to cereal and toast, coffee/hot choc machine, plenty of different teas. Cooked breakfast was lovely and good ingredients. Loved the jug of milk and orange juice on the table. No issue asking for a refill. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I would definite stay again when in the area.

Familjärt hotell med mycket charm. Vänligt och omtänksamt värdpar. Frukosten var av bästa walesiskt slag och pubmaten i övrigt i toppklass. Rekommenderas varmt för alla som vill åt det genuint brittiska och inte nödvändigtvis är i behov av de allra mest moderna bekvämligheterna för sin hotellvistelse.

Stayed here before and would happily stay again. Lovely staff, large, clean bedroom, comfy bed. Plenty of parking. Superb, generous breakfast.

Staff were super helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was exceptional, cooked to order, and better than most 5 star establishments. Room had everything you need. Perfect for our needs.

We had a wonderful over night stay . The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious . Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of choice. Will not hesitate to return.

Clean, very helpful friendly staff. Breakfast very good, hot and tasty. Overall ‘tired’ and needs total refurbishment. Ok for couple of nights stop-over. Unable to comment on bar and lounge areas.

As regular guests we have had great service and help over a few years now resolving issues that have occurred, the last one being this weekend, first aid assistance to a cut finger which happened elsewhere. Cannot fault that sort of help.

I was made very welcome from the start from Gary and Veronica. The food was excellent and the ambience , great. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. I would definitely stay there again !!

Lovely old pub with good rooms available, Gary is a nice friendly host and really cares that you enjoy your stay. We had our evening meal and drinks there which were good quality and value for money. The breakfast was top notch and you helped yourself to good quality coffee and toast. I've already booked a stay here again.

Absolutely great food for breakfast & evening meal. Really comfy bed. Undoubtedly the most friendly family run hotel I have encountered.

Lovely helpful staff clean room great value with nice food

We weren't expecting to find top notch accommodation here, at the price, but the hotel, the staff, the rooms and food all exceeded our expectations.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere.

We had a warm welcome from the start. The bar meals were varied and very good, pies, stroganoff, burgers and curry all very tasty. Our room had everything we needed, flat screen TV, kettle, shower and breakfast choices were very good with cereals,toast and hot choices. We would definitely recommend the hotel
