Please do not go to coral reef. It’s a terrible place. The picture you see online is not real; the bathroom is full of mold, the shared kitchen is dirty; the owner is a ripoff and l can go on and on. I had to leave after 2 nights even though my stay was supposed to be 5 nights. So go figure. Terrible terrible place. There was construction being done on the premises and loud noise of banging from the workers was disturbing. If you prefer a run down place, Coral Reef is for you! Don’t waste your money and l have videos to prove my point.

Check-in is easy. Owner friendly & informative about property. Non public beach & dock shared with other renters was very nice & a great spot to see the sunset. There were fish jumping after sunset. I saw a stingray from deck early one morning. Flying Fishbone is right next to apartments. So you will hear & see the customers. The owners offered discount to eat there. There were kayaks & other beach things like sand toys & floats to use. Outside shower to rinse off. There is no hot water but it was still a comfortable temperature to shower. There was a stovetop, microwave, small fridge/freezer & coffee maker in our room & another shared kitchen if needed for more cooking items. There is parking on site. The best snorkeling we found is at Mangel Halto beach which is a 6 minute drive. If you like horseback riding, Rancho Loco (16 min drive) does rides to Conchi Natural Pool in Arikok Nat’l Park & have fun friendly staff. The horses are well kept & trained.

The location was beautiful. Very secluded and quiet. Many amenities to enjoy- water floats, beach loungers, kayaks…all at no additional cost. The rooms are no frills but very clean and comfortable.

The staff at this hotel Jenny, eric and Graziella are the best. Warm, accomodating, they will help u get anything you need.

Location is perfect, room is excellent! Coral Reef lived up to the very best of the reviews I read. Rooms were cleaned daily, never an issue getting enough towels. The restaurant next door is convenient. The use of items was very useful for water fun. Will strongly recommend and will return. Do yourself a favor, book and enjoy as I did. Four of us stayed in the room and had enough room.

The kitchen was fully equipped. The staff was amazing. The restaurant was amazing access to the ocean was 10 yards from our room. I can’t say enough about this place in the hospitality.

Great place to stay, right by the beach, free amenities. Very attentive and polite staff, clean rooms.

Room was clean, staff was courteous. Nice quiet atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor lounging areas in sun or shade! Other guests were friendly. No hot water was not an issue, it was plenty warm for showers at anytime of the day or evening. We enjoyed our stay. Rental car is a must.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the private beach and the restaurant next door was four star! Highly recommend!!

Excellent stay

This is being one of the best places that I have stayed at. The woman in charge, Graciela, was wonderful and accommodating. I loved the private beach, everything that was included in the apartment was clean, and I felt safe the entire time.
