Great location for a stay after a long trip

This hotel was fine. It was exactly what it was advertised as and it'd be fine for most people. The restaurant on the top floor was also very good. I had one issue, but admittedly it wouldn't affect most guests. But just so it's out there in case anyone else encounters this. I travel mostly for business, and I often will stay at a hotel in one country or city and then fly to other locations, only to fly back to my origin point at the end of the day. Because of this I only book hotels the offer shuttles or transfers to the airport. On this trip I booked this location for two nights and would need to go to the airport on both mornings. Well, they refused to provide an airport transfer for the second morning as "only one transfer was provided per stay..." Which, I'll be honest, doesn't make a ton of sense to me because I paid for two nights... It's not like I only paid for one night and wanted to go to the airport twice in the same day. It would be no different than two separate guests paying for two separate nights and they both needed transfers. In all of my years of traveling, this is the only hotel that has done this. Now, in the end, my flight back to POS was canceled and I ended up having to stay in Barbados the second night, so it was all a moot point in the end, but just FYI. Because they don't actually have a "shuttle" and it's just them getting you a taxi, they won't transfer you to the airport more than once per stay. Otherwise this would be fine for most people.

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was exceptional, and the staff were always attentive and responsive to my needs. Their kindness and dedication to ensuring my comfort were truly appreciated. My room was meticulously maintained, and the hotel's convenient location near the airport was a huge plus. Additionally, being right across the street from some amazing food was a fantastic bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, cleanliness, and prime location!"

The Grand Diamond Hotel is a little gem near the airport. Cozy and clean accommodations with a nice Thai/Indian cuisine restaurant. Free airport shuttle service is provided. Was very happy to have a load of laundry washed and folded for a reasonable price after being on a trip for a week. The Assistant Manager, Sherri, was very friendly and helpful! She even helped us order a pizza for delivery to the hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The property is safe as the front desk is manned and you have to be buzzed in. It is very clean, comfortable, and has good wifi. The daily personalized breakfasts is good.
