Correct pour Conakry. Piscine inutilisable. Accueil pas très agréable dans la mesure où la personne à l'accueil me suspectait de ne pas avoir payé la réservation. Petit déjeuner pas top, eau tiède pas de thé, vaisselle salle. Prix raisonnable en passant par expédia. Consommations et repas trop coûteux pour Conakry

Staff were rude and unwelcoming. Room in shambles—closet door laying against the wall, exposed wires, lights and outlets not functioning, no hot water.

The property manager, Karime, made my stay enjoyable. Mabinty, one of the housekeepers accompanied me to the market. I will definitely stay at Zambezi again!

Close to airport. Area not very appealing. Good security.

I had a nice size room (#2). A basic breakfast (omelette and coffee). Cold beer and soft drinks with a well stocked bar. A choice of six or seven things on the dinner menu (the roasted chicken was great for 100,000GF). The staff were great. Gated entrance.

De kamer was heel schoon, ruim, en voor mij heel belangrijk: 's nachts stil. Heel goede, hete douche. Goede ligging Aardig personeel van receptioniste, schoonmaaksters tot bewaker. Koud biertje bij het zwembad.

Staff was nice and available. But service was slow especially breakfast.

Scammed at Hotel Zambezi, Conakry – A Warning for Travelers Staying at Hotel Zambezi was a costly mistake. I was conned out of 1.5 million Guinea Francs in what felt like a well-coordinated scam involving hotel staff, the supervisor, and the manager. A friendly "guest" at the bar insisted on buying me a drink. He seemed genuine—until I was slapped with his tab at checkout. Language barriers made my protests useless, and the manager, despite claiming American experience, refused to listen. With the scammer vanished, I was forced to pay up—practically frog-marched to Western Union to settle the bill. If you don’t speak French or are approached by a smooth-talking stranger at Hotel Zambezi, beware—you might be next. I’ll never set foot in Guinea again.
