Lovely rooms and environment

Kapital was a wonderful oasis during our Mozambique visit - staff was delightful and very helpful, rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed, ac & hot water were great, breakfast was wonderful, convenient to some restaurant choices and place to get souvenirs; have stayed at some higher priced Maputo hotels, but this is the best of them.

Very spacious room. Clean and neat and nice. The only thing missing is proper lighting for the bathroom mirror.

On the second day we even skipped the paid breakfast as we found it below average. The eggs were cold, instead of real coffee we were made to drink Ricoffey (no real coffee). Everything has a plastic touch (starting with the artificial lawn) and the hotel has no charm or style. Apart from that our booking talked about balconies in our 3 rooms which turned out not to be the case. In addition, I had a 40 by 40 cm concrete pillar to the right hand side of the bed and shampoo, coffee and tea etc were only delivered after we complained. Hotel Kapital is not going to see us again.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Went for holiday 4 nights, the rooms are clean & everything worked. I was worried about the parking as I had been told that cars get stripped BUT hotel provided a car guard at no extra cost a good plus. Breakfast was above par for a hotel in this star bracket, however there were a lot of people complaing about a BAD smell in the restaurant.

L hotel a eu du mal a retrouver notre reservation faite par ebookers, nous avons payé pour une chambre deluxe 2 lits et en arrivant pas de chambre deluxe deux lits, on a du attendre puis ils finissent par nous donner une chambre moins cher et simples a 3 lits. Nous avons demandez a que la difference soit deduite de notre repas du soir. Malheureux que la solution ne viennent pas d eux mais exigence du client pour ce qu il a payé.

Nice hotel, very good value for money. Clearly still having some work done but that didn't spoil the stay. Staff as helpful as needed, and in a decent area not far from town.
