I was not notified of a horrible techno music festival taking place directly outside my room. From around 8 pm, until 2 am on the morning of December 22, my entire room was shaking from the loud bass. The music is so loud that even with ear plugs I was unable to sleep. The hotel or Expedia should have notified me of this and I will be expecting a refund. To anyone reading this, it is hard to describe how loud the music is, perhaps if I went to bed behind the speakers at my local techno nightclub, I might have a similarly awful experience. I was simply looking for a quiet weekend at a polo resort which promised a unique experience. Instead I suffering through a sleepless night that I am paying for. This is without question the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I cannot express what a terrible experience this has been.

Never stay at Las Palmas. They host parties until 2 a.m. The music was so loud my room was shaking. Truly a miserable experience.

Hotel is beautiful, service is great. However I deducted one star because the room is not well-insulated from noise. I could clearly hear my neighbors in adjacent room.

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed on! The restaurant, room, pool were gorgeous! The gym is state of the art! Perfect place to rest and unwind!!!

This place is next level! We booked it as we had 1 night in Quito before flying back to the UK and it was superb. The staff could not have been more helpful & the facilities were top notch. Our room was immaculate & we had a balcony on the lake where we saw so much wildlife including some quite rare birds. We were able to check out late & use the facilities until we needed to head to the airport and we had a wonderful relaxed afternoon by the outdoor pool. The food and drinks were delicious. A glorious setting and the perfect relaxing end to an amazing holiday.

Las Palmas is mostly a polo club. They host massive events. I wished they had let us know that they were hosting a massive party the day of or arrival, we spent an hour sitting in traffic trying to access the property. The property is located in a rural area, that can only be accessed through a narrow street. When they host these events there is massive congestion. It took us longer to get to the hotel than to fly from Cuenca to Quito. Terrible experience. The music was loud and we could hear it in our room. The rooms are spacious but don’t have blackouts curtains. The front desk was very apologetic but it was clear they didn’t think through how hosting a massive event would impact their regular customers.

Very spacious accommodation with mini kitchen, excellent place for just relaxing in a quiet spacious setting. Feels more like a country club than a hotel. Staff were incredible, very helpful in whatever was requested.

L'hôtel a annulé ma réservation une semaine avant ma venue en prétextant que je n'avait pas confirmé ma réservation or j'avais payé lors de ma réservation par internet trois mois avant. Ils ont proposé un logement à proximité pour lequel j'ai dû payer un supplément équivalent de ma nuit d'hôtel ce qui a doublé mon budget pour deux nuits. Je suppose qu'un événement plus lucratif au sein de l'établissement est à l'origine de mon annulation tardive. Nous étions pas les seuls clients dans le même cas ce WE là. Le petit personnel était très bien mais l'organisation reste plus qu'à désirer.

There was a problem with our reservation, however they were able to solve it, that’s why the rating was not excellent. The place is really beautiful, quiet and cozy.
