Beautiful room, clean and comfortable. Lovely pub next door called The Honey Bee for great foid

The hotel is fine but not great for tall people. The ceilings in my room were rather low, so were the doorways in the breakfast room. If I didn’t have to hunch all the time it would have been great.

Room was clean, and cosy - night time access was not great, as no lighting when trying to locate the property from the main road or lights outside the accommodation, so good old iPhone torch to the rescue. Apart from that, well decorated, clean, free parking and easy access to Manchester Airport, which was a key reason we booked.

Fantastic little hotel, friendly staff, very quiet and peaceful. Great continental breakfast. Sadly on this visit I didn’t have hot water in the room on the morning of my departure (absolutely fine the evening before). I was offered an alternative room to use facilities before departing.

The room was pleasant and spacious, although a little cold on waking the following morning. Its an ideal spot if you are travelling to the airport with a lovely pub on its doorstep. Id have rated higher but the shower had lots of black mould which is always a big concern for us due to health reasons- i can see this was also mentioned in a review a month ago so it does not look like this has been attended too since.

This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee.

Great price. Rooms clean and well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone.

Room was fab for 5 of us to stay in the night before our flight and so close to the airport for the next day. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, comfy bed, shower was great but leaked onto the floor, we had noisy people above us who were moving about quite late but that’s not the property’s fault but maybe carpet upstairs would muffle the noise? Just a suggestion. The code worked well and was great as we had early flight so didn’t have to disturb anyone. The road outside is quite busy and you come up on the sign quickly to turn in but fortunately we’ve been before and will return again

Great cosy cottage, perfect for what we needed. One of the beds could do with an updated mattress & Shower a clean but overall great stay and would stay again.

Disappointed that there was no breakfast. Also there was only one tea mug for two of us. Only two teabags which meant we could only have one drink. Would be nice to be able to have one on arrival, one before bed and one on the morning. Not enough milk. If we'd have known we would have brought some extras with us from home. Quite a lot of road noise until late and from early in the morning.
