Mica, the host, is such a nice, supportive and chatty person and will make you feel welcome right away. The whole lodge is very cute and all the rooms looked very unique and cozy. I booked a tiny low budget room, which was just what I needed.

A great experience in a well designed and well run place. Just one simple thing that can be done to make the experience even better: Move or create a sound-proof / sound-dampening box around the water pump. Currently the pump is situated directly outside the accommodation and when people use water, the pump turns on. If you are a light sleeper (like me) this can be disturbing. Other than that, a really great place, with warm and friendly staff, good wifi and delicious affordable food. About a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Ponta de Ouro, makes this place feel like a getaway while still feeling connected to the town. Thanks Mark and Mikash for an unforgettable experience.
