Loved the convenience for our early 6 a.m. flight and rental car drop-off. The hotel was new, clean, and the staff was friendly. The sushi restaurant, Tokyo, was just ok - but we were happy to have the option for an early dinner in our room.

I had a 17 hour layover in Reykjavik and wanted to be close to the airport. The staff was very helpful, the room quiet and clean, and the breakfast amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great service from all the staff whom we contacted. In the room it was very modern with a large television with a reasonable choice of channels. Though there were two USB sockets they didn’t work but the front desk lent us a USB mains adapter. We chose this hotel as the website said they had courtesy transportation, when we stayed it ran only in the early morning which suited us for our early flight.

Close to airport. Has parking. Will need a car to get to capital which is about 38 minutes. Blue lagoon is close by. Clean and updated.

I choose this location due in part to its proximity to the international airport KEF. It also has a gas station on the corner of the property which made it easy to refill my prior to returning it. If there was one issue that I had with the hotel it was the linens used for the room. The pillowcases and duvet cover were as soft as sandpaper. That’s the last thing you need in a bed. Instead of a soft and comfortable place to lay your head down it made it feel very uncomfortable.

Very clean, modern property, breakfast options are great and tasty, breakfast hours 6-10 am is a plus, rooms were cleaned daily, towels and beddings were changed daily as well, nice friendly staff, very close to the airport, hotels shuttle runs from 5am till 8am only. Overall great place to stay.

property should consider provide shuttle service all day instead just before 8:00 PM. Large taxi (need for luggages) from airport to Hotel is over $100 for 5 minutes drive....

Courtyard by Marriott Reykjavik Keflavik Airport Positiv: • Lage: Kostenloser Shuttle-Service zum Flughafen und fußläufig zur MyCar Autovermietung. • Zimmer: Geräumig und modern; das bereitgestellte Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen war praktisch. • Personal: Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Negativ: • WLAN: Ich konnte mich nicht ins WLAN einloggen und habe es versäumt, das Problem an der Rezeption zu klären. • Bettzeug: Die Kopfkissen waren für meinen Geschmack zu hart; eine weichere Alternative wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Zwei separate Decken anstelle einer großen hätten wir bevorzugt. • Buchungsproblem: Wir hatten zwei Zimmer für vier Personen gebucht, aber bei der Ankunft wurde nur eines registriert. Das zweite Zimmer wurde erst nach Nennung des Namens der zweiten Buchung gefunden, was beinahe zu einer doppelten Zahlung geführt hätte, da das Zimmer nicht stornierbar war. • Frühstück: Ein Lunchbox-Angebot für Frühabreisende wäre hilfreich, da wir um 5:00 Uhr zum Flughafen gefahren wurden und das reguläre Frühstück nicht nutzen konnten. • Restaurant: Das benachbarte Restaurant war zweckmäßig, aber nicht überzeugend, und schließt bereits um 21:00 Uhr.
