The bar was always well stocked but the parking was a challenge Great staff. Very helpful.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel while attending a work party. The side gate was a thoughtful touch, as it meant we didn’t need to walk through the pub when coming and going. After the evening and a few drinks, the cereals and biscuits provided were very much appreciated :) Having water, juices, tea, and coffee available was also such a lovely gesture. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the double room was comfortable, giving me a great night’s sleep. Thank you for a truly enjoyable stay.

Ticked the boxes for a 1 night stay

This hotel is a local pub with mainly locals hanging out having a couple of bears. Friendly staff. However there were a few problems. First of all, there were some kind of machinery (maybe a generator or a heater) within the hotel making a lot of noise even at night, making it impossible to sleep more than just a few hours.. Then there were some cleaning issues, like the bathroom fan being almost covered in dust, dirty floor, spots on the sheets etc. Chilly bathroom too. That's about it.

Room was immaculate and met my requirements for an overnight stay.

Quiet room, well stocked tea, coffee, juice, cereal and milk, street parking no problem. Only one hand towel provided and an enormous bin in room which was v unnecessary! Bed was v comfortable!

Shower was unusable scalding hot after 3 seconds then back to cold and beds so hard you cant sleep, extremely loud guests throughout the night til 3am and then cleaners shouting around from 8am i cannot recommend this place to anyone shower door didnt even close essentially flooding the bathroom if you need to get a shower. A homeless hostels gas higher standards! £70 for 1 night is disgusting when you cant even use the shower or get a decent sleep

Just constant loud noise of boiler/motor type machinery firing up all night. Very little rest for me in Room 4 .. customer who is completely deaf will suit that accommodation. It made me jump out of my skin each time I thought I'd fall asleep off it fired up again! Crazy experience!
