There was a mix up with the booking so my ages and disabled father was unable to stay in an accessible room. The guy on reception was very helpful and we managed to stay in an alternative room that was adequate. Unfortunately, my room was directly above the gym, which opens at 6am and loud music woke me up. Generally, the hotel seems more geared up to gym and swimming pool users than guests. Overall, it was clean, convenient and has good EV charging. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

Had a great time. Staff and facilities were excellent. Parking was easy.

Horrible. How are the washrooms see through!? If you are sharing with a friend or sometimes even a family member why would you want your shadow to be seen? Even with the odd "light switch which covers you" nothing is actually covered. I would NOT come back and wouldn't reccomend it to anyone else either.

Great place to stay, near the town centre. Has a gym if that’s your thing. Didn’t bother with food as explored the town for food instead. Room clean with everything you need for a good nights stay. Staff friendly. Only complaint was that the music from the gym was v loud & could be heard in the hotel room from 9 am.

The staff were very helpful & pleasant. Our room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.

Room & staff were great. We also used the EV charging which was really convenient.

on second floor you get at 6-7 in the morning the gym sounds and music late.

Niet de eerste keer dat ik een invalide kamer gezet wordt. Flexibiliteit is ver te zoeken voor omzetting naar een reguliere kamer. Dus een tip als je boekt.....altijd erbij zetten dat je geen invalide kamer wilt hebben.

Great hotel.

A clean well equipped hotel with super helpful staff. We were travelling from Devon to see a show in London so getting back home on same night not possible. This was a third of the cost of london equivalent hotels but far better than most. Plenty of late trains to Basingstoke leaving us closer to home after a sleep in a very comfy bed.

No point nobody as listens but I will say that I feel the staff are abusive

Checked in at 5pm and the reception were professional but very robotic and not really welcoming so not a great first impression. The room is very modern with 2 USB ports next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable and had an excellent sleep. The TV is 65 inch Samsung which has Sky Sports. No apps for YouTube or no option to Chromecast from your phone. The TV picture quality is excellent. The air conditioning was excellent but kept switching off so I guess it’s motion controlled so if you’re not moving in the room it switches off. The bathroom was small but has an excellent lighted shaving mirror. The shower offers both rainfall and hand held shower option. The water pressure is good too. Tea and Coffee in the room. The room and bathroom are very clean but I didn’t have a window in the room and only a small window in the bathroom which looked out onto a wall. The room wasn’t clean during my two night stay and I didn’t have any Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I guess they must have just forgotten to service my room. The WiFi is free and fast and doesn’t drop out. Vodafone and O2 had no service in the room I was in but you could make a phone call even though it only had one bar of signal strength. No fridge or safe in the room which was disappointing. For people who want to stay fit there is a nice gym. The is a Starbucks Coffee in the hotel and an amazing Waitrose Supermarket about 0.6 miles away which even has a cafe. The main shopping mall is about 1 mile away and is abo

Gym music until 11pm and from 7am on a Sunday and so loud sleep is impossible. I could even hear it through headphones. Staff were aware of this being an issue but no attempt to turn the music down and I wasn't allowed to move rooms so I left early. Really disappointing - what's the point of a hotel stay if you can't sleep? Lumpy pillows so better to bring your own and my shower wasn't working very well. I've stayed here for 2 years but this will certainly be the last time.

The bar drinks were overpriced. Food was quickly served and well presented

Stayed 12th-14th june. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean etc. Only one downfall .... I booked a room and they charged me to park in the carpark 😂 , but when you go outside and look at the signs. It says free from Friday to Sunday. But otherwise excellent. I cannot fault the place. It was modern, clean, lively . Very happy and would stay again
