the TV location is a bit odd. Especially it is connected to a extension cord that is crossed over the entrance to walk-in-closet. I would suggest to move the TV to the table by the window. And move the bed a bit more toward the door to the room, As if you get out of bed on the right side (facing the washroom) The idel between the side chair and the bed side is rather tight. ( I bumped my knee or foot a few with the side chair ).

Owner was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t realize this unit had a shared bathroom, but it was no problem and very clean. The house was very quiet and I had a very good sleep. Had to leave early so can’t comment on breakfast.

Sunny and Island are a wonderful husband and wife team. They are excellent hosts. They welcomed me so warmly. My room was immaculate. The breakfast was a delight each morning. I couldn't have been more impressed.

We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts warmly welcomed us and served a delicious breakfast to us each morning ($10 Canadian each). They also suggested several good local restaurants for dinner. If we visit Surrey again, we’ll definitely stay at Sunny Island again.

Quite and relaxing

We were assured that the room we reserved had a private bathroom but it was shared with multiple other guests. Room was very cold and no extra blankets for the bed were available. It seemed as though the hosts were brand new to running a B & B. Hopefully, things will improve.

We have stayed here several times and will again, when in the White Rock/Surrey area. The host/owners are lovely and go well out of their way to make certain guests feel comfortable and welcomed (and graciously accommodated inconvenient arrival/departure logistics). The gardens are wonderful, and breakfast outdoors is a lovely treat. Sunny Island is minutes away from some wonderful restaurants. We have enjoyed several takeout meals in a variety of locations on the property. Nothing but good to say, here! It has been consistently fab!

Everything was within a short drive. we didn't have any problem looking for restaurant or markets.

Very nice and comfortable to stay in

I enjoyed my stay. The king sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom with large and clean, and the room was also large. My only suggestion would be to have coffee/tea available in the room. The host was very accommodating and gracious. I will definitely refer this to people looking for a room in White Rock.

Property was in a nice neighbourhood. The host was nice and pleasant. We didn’t use the kitchen or have breakfast or coffee in the morning since we were pressed for time but it was available. I had hoped for a coffee pot in the room but only a kettle and nothing else. Didn’t even have a TV. The bed was clean and very comfortable but the overall cleaning of the room could be better. There was still hair and dirt in the tub and the lower shelf was super dusty. Also water was not hot enough. Some water damage in room and unfinished plaster/ trim. Otherwise a very nice room in a beautiful house. Rooms are not soundproof so we were woke every morning at 7am to cooking and movement downstairs. An overall ok stay with acceptable hosts.

Stairs and shower were a little cramped but overall nice homey place. No TV in the room I had.

the house was very nice, the pillow cover's appeared to be a little dirty, maybe someone had some oily hair before us .. not sure .. and the body wash was empty in the shower

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. We stayed in 2 different rooms because I added an extra day at the last minute. The rooms were both clean, bathrooms were great. The master room has a wonderful spa like bath. Great common space downstairs. The basement rooms don't have an attached bath but it is 2 steps from your door. Each room has a private bathroom Our host made us a lovely breakfast each morning. Beautiful place to stay and it was a great location. 15 minutes to White Rock pier and shopping malls within walking distance Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The wonderful hospitality was very much appreciated
