The Golden Tulip was again my stay of choice in stone town. Walking distance to everything and attractions makes this the ideal place to stay. 5 ⭐ isn't enough!

Great location for central Stone Town, helpful & friendly staff, very clean. Issues: high AC noise & problem with using the remote control to get temp settings right; TV set to subscription channels as default - no obvious free channels; no water in room on arrival, breakfast buffet not close to being laid out at 07:30 open; no bar

Poor breakfast Lack of security: still using traditional key to open and close the door. Moreover the door cannot lock itself when you enter the room and push back the door

Oppholdet på hotellet var helt ok! Rent og pent på fellesarealer og på rommet. Svømmebassenget var lite innbydende, dårlig vannkvalitet. Frokosten var middels nivå. Men personellet var veldig trygge og hjelpsomme👍

Greit hotell med god beliggenhet i forhold til Stone City. Vær oppmerksom på at denne hotellkjeden ikke har alkohol tilgjengelig. Så hverken øl eller vin til maten.

A nice and cozy hotel in the middle of busy stone town of Zanzibar. The staff and breakfast are really great and the rooms comfortable.

El hoteles muy bueno pero los colchones de las camas son muy viejos y muy incómodos todo lo demás es muy bueno la ubicación es buena y el personal es muy amable

Hotel assez vieillot bien situé proche su port, du centre ville et du vieux port. Personnel agreable et souriant. Chambre sommaire avec une literie vieillissante et grincante. Comme les fenêtres ne ferment pas on entend les bruits environnants. Reveil en sursaut par la sirène du port. Acceptable pour une nuit ou deux avant d'aller vers le Nord de l île.

Decent hotel

I used This hotel before, is a great place to stay, service is good, very friendly and halpfull staff. easy to get around in stonetown from this hotel and has easy access, much transport to find outside and around the hotel. not far from the ferry terminal also. all in all great place, i would use again.

I particularly appreciated the friendly and welcoming demeanor of both the hotel staff and the local community around the seaport. Accessing tour guides was effortless, which enhanced my experience. However, I would suggest considering upgrades to some beds, as the one in my room was slightly noisy. Overall, the hotel provides an excellent experience and is highly recommended.

Hi, this is my 3rd stay at the hotel and i have not changed my view, is as good as it is and would go barck again, just read my earlier reviews great stay great location, great staff.

AC was so loud in our room and making loud bangs all day and night. We could hear all the street noise non-stop and hotel noise (under construction/ renovation). The elevator was not working so keep that in mind if you have lots of luggages. Not peaceful/ restful if your room is facing the front but great location. Staff very friendly and nice!

Hi, good place, nice pool, great roof top terrasse. My first extention after they gave me new room, due to to A/C not worked in the other. Clean and good pool, helpful and smiling / happy staff. i found the accomodation and location to be great for me. i actually extende my stay twice, due to the great service and advices from staff, when asked. at the moment the elevator do not work, but they work hard on fix it...for me, had not and impact on my stay thar is not working. recommend to stay, and i'd use the hotel again.

Hi, good place, nice ppol, great roof top terrasse. My first evening they tried to fix the A/C but it did not helt, and into night, in addition to it not cooling it started a high vibration sound. Location great. Staff very supportive especially. I was on 3rd floor and above is 4th floor which has the dinning. From 4am a lot of noise furniture continuously moved to prepare for breakfast. Windows not cleaned and look dirty when you want to open.

The location is very convenient (right in Stone Town), and is within walking distance of many attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Good place to stay in Stone town. About 10 min walk from "the main events". Felt safe and comfortable, good palace for the price, also the pool was nice. Did not try the restaurant at the top, but good food was close by as well. Would stay again
