This is an absolutely gorgeous property. Unfortunately we booked a two bedroom suite with a partial ocean view but the room had no view at all. The hotels.com advertisement even showed a photograph of the porch with a partial ocean view but that was not the porch we were provided. The photos also showed a patio that rolled out onto a private pool area, also not included at our room. The partial ocean view and the patio shown in the photographs was a major factor in deciding to book this room so it was disappointing to not receive it. Unfortunately we arrived on a short time line to quickly shower and get out to our next engagement so we didn't have the time to address the issue with the staff and change rooms etc. (if that was even an option).

Excellent hotel right on a great fine sand beach. Very attentive staff throughout the hotel, from check in, restaurant, security, house keeping and even the gardeners. Lots of space in apartment, good facilities, including well equipped kitchen and even a laundry room. We stayed 2 weeks in total, with a few nights out on excursions and felt very safe leaving our belongings in the apartment. Miriam on reception was particularly helpful assisting us arrange various trips out. Too many good people to call out but must shout out Valeria in the restaurant and Mkala in security for all their help… as well as everyone around the pool and sun loungers who just made us really comfortable… I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for a long safe relaxing stay…

Die Unterkunft entspricht nach europäischen Kriterien 1 Stern Kategorie! Wenn man mit Frühstück bucht bekommt man den Kaffee den die vorschreiben jedoch keinen Cappuccino, sollte man trotzdem einen Cappuccino wollen muss man aufzahlen. Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen! Dieses Hotel ist runtergekommen und komplett abgewohnt. Klimaanlage nur in den Schlafräumen 30 Jahre alt kein filter jemals getauscht. Duschen funktionierten unzureichend, Toilette auch. Stühle sind nicht gebrauchsfähig! Wohnzimmergarnitur ist alt und ekelhaft, Küche nicht gebrauchsfähig! Es ist nicht zu empfehlen absolutes Nogo!

Such a spectacular location. This is our third trip to Diani in two years. This was the premier location as we have staying in several beachfront properties. Thank you Lantana. Customer service is top notch.

When we booked, I was unaware that I booked a villa. Boy oh boy was it huge. Everyone had tons of space. There was multiple balcony's to relax at. The Villa had a third story balcony. There are a couple pools and our Villa had an ocean view. The staff was friendly and security team was great. Le Cafe is the onsite restaurant. The food was good to great at all times. The kids enjoyed their custom ordered pizzas and the fries. We had to order extra baskets of fries as the ate them too quickly. Another big hit was the homemade icecream milkshakes. The beach was very nice in this area. Unlike closer to the Diani airport there was not a lot of rocks or coral pieces underfoot. The sand was incredibly soft. So was very comfortable getting in and out. *There are some beach boys in this area, but they was not very pushy or annoying. I never felt bad for saying no. I think since Galu is at the end of the strip it made for a calmer experience this time. One last note, it was easy to get Glovo deliveries for anything not at the hotel. Enjoy your stay. I will gladly book again.

Lantana Galu Beach is beautiful, in such a lovely spot with beautiful beach, fantastic pools and lovely staff. The villa was incredible - can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time at Lantana Galu beach. The staff were amazing, helpful and warm. Our Villa was super clean, spacious and private. We loved relaxing on the veranda or inside. The beach was serene, not busy and the ocean water spectacular. My son enjoyed the pool daily as well. We loved the food, room service was also a great convenience. Taxi pickup and for getting around Diani was also great. A big thank you to all the hotel. We will definitely be back !

Three of us stayed here two nights. I wish we could have stayed longer! They have taken great care to create a tropical oasis. There is a combination of beach views and garden views. The apartment suites are mostly garden view. They are huge however and could easily accommodate two families. We have traveled extensively in Kenya. This facility is one of the best- clean, excellent food, good beach access. What really stands out is the professional staff. They are well trained and practice a high level of customer service and enjoyment. We would so love to stay here again!

Great stay..differrnt concept of apartments and villas. We stayed in the apartments/suite..really good especially for a family so everyone gets their space and especially if staying longer than 2 nights as the kitchen is fully equipped and also has sitting room, dining room, and outside balcony sitting area. Food was also really good!

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, viel Grün, sauber und direkt am Strand gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Räume extrem großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die beiden Pools sind sehr sauber und nicht zu stark gechlort. Die Auswahl an Speisen des Restaurants ist gering. Besser kein Frühstück oder Halbpension buchen, sonder flexibel bleiben und kleine Restaurants in der Nähe aufsuchen. Der Gym ist einfach ausgestattet, aber mit etwas Phantasie lässt sich hier durchaus gut trainieren. Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Diani und man muss 15min TukTuk Fahrt aufwenden um nach Diani zu gelangen. Negativ: Leider gab es erheblichen Baulärm. Ab morgens 8 Uhr war der schöne Balkon nicht mehr zu benutzen. Expedia hat sich leider auch nicht auf meine Mängelanzeige gemeldet.

Very well taken care of. Exotic, clean, high class. Well designed, very green/lush, private, quiet, good food, courteous staff, the list goes on.

Hotellets placering er med den smukke have udenom er fantastisk. Alt var godt på nær, at der kunne godt være et aircondition i stuen også. Pool området er meget lille når hotellet er fuldt booket. Det var lige tilpas nu med en belægning på 30%

The apartment is situated in the back of the property and is very minimal - the food at the restaurant was average quality and quite expensive

Beautiful garden setting right next to the most perfect beach. Apartment was spacious and very comfortable. All staff sought to make your stay at Lamtana the best experience and we were so sad to have to leave. Throughly recommend a stay here.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The photos on Expedia do not do this place justice. We were stunned upon arrival at the beauty of the place. The room was huge and incredibly spacious for 4 people. It had lots of little touches that made it feel special and luxurious. It was furnished and decorated beautifully. We had a very large balcony with a panoramic view of the gardens, sea and pool. Monkeys are visible in the trees which added to the wonder of the place. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy - this was maintained by staff throughout our stay. The pool and beach are absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing, particularly the breakfasts. Above all else, staff were so incredibly helpful, attentive, friendly, and kind. They provided information and support wherever requested. I cannot recommend Lantana Galu enough.

Excellent apartments, very well maintained. My only issue is with the limited choice of food offered if you choose half board, would only do bed and breakfast or room only next time.

Kenyans in general are genuinely very friendly and the staff at the Lantana are no exception. Very polite, always say good morning or ‘Jambo’ do their best to meet your requests. The two-bedroom suite was huge with two living areas, dining area, kitchen and large deck overlooking the grounds down to the beach. Pool and dining area is very nice and there is a very jut of land with palm trees out onto the beach. Food is good to very good although some things were not quite as expected (like Eggs Benedict with bacon and too hard a poach). Not a cheap hotel by any means, but very good value for money. Will definitely return!

Top Anlage mit großen Suiten. Penthouse Suite im 5. Stock mit Balkon ringsum und Whirlpool. Gutes, preiswertes A la Carte Essen, gute Auswahl, große Portionen, Weine preiswert, Cocktails viel zu teuer...keine Happy hour! Bin auch nicht sicher, ob wirklich importierte Spirituosen verwendet werden...die örtlichen weissen Spirituosen sind durchaus in Ordnung. Schöner Strand...kilometerweit weisser Sand, Seegras im Meer, aber keine Felsen. Nebensaison optimal. Hauptpool wurde nach Hinweis auf Ablagerungen am Boden ohne Sauganlage "gereinigt", der Dreck vom Boden war dann überall im Wasser...

The location of resort is very quiet. The rooms were very nice and well appointed. All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. There is only one restaurant, while the food was tasty the variation is limited and becomes repetitive after a few days.
