The stay was just ok. Food was good and bad. Service was weird. Some days services was good in the restaurants but the cut was awful. The buffet service was awful. The team was over worked and could care less.

One thing that I like, it was a lot of option to eat. It was like the buffet. When I first arrived there when I got in my room, I don’t like it because it was staying in my covers, but one thing that I called customer service and they got fixed. They went and changed my Culver’s and another thing it was in hot water when I first got there, but like I say, I called from this and they went and got a fix The housekeeping, ladies they was nice Erica the one went right there. She was nice too, and Vivi. I have coupling inconvenience, but I will go back and I’m going back.

I had a wonderful stay at the resort—everything from the rooms to the amenities was fantastic. The property is well-maintained, the food was excellent, and the location is beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was the reception staff. Unfortunately, they came across as unwelcoming and not very helpful during check-in and checkout. A warmer and more professional front desk experience would have made the stay truly perfect.

Absolutely loved this resort! So many food options and great restaurants! The staff of the entire resort are very professional, fun, and lovely. My wife and I will definitely go back and will bring both of our families, too.

The staff kept the property incredibly clean and were helpful when tipped. For a newly renovated property, there were some older finishes, but again, the property is one of the cleanest I have ever been. As a side note, we stayed in one of the swim up pool suites. There is stagnant water surrounding the pool, and the mosquitos were vicious when we sat on the lanai. I went to the shop to get bug spray because it was so bad, and they charged me $30, which is extraordinary even for a resort shop.

It was our second time at this facility and it was not how it was last time. We only went back to this resort because of how the staff and room was the first time. This time around, we had a bartender that was at the swim up pool near the buffet and his attitude was horrible! He wouldnt even let us see his name tag. Also, when checking in, the person working the front desk also had an attitude and made us go back twice for our keys since we had two different rooms. Also, we noticed that a few of the Entertainment employees were no longer working there and they were the ones that made the experience a whole lot better! Francisc was the main one who made the dancing so much fun and included the kids. It was a shame that he was no longer working there. Thank God for Minerba Cabrera and Keila Medina for including my kids in the activities and always having a smile on their faces! Also, Jose that works in the buffet and restaurants was also amazing with the service! For the room, it smelt like mold and looked very old compared to our room back in January. Next time, unfortunately, we will be trying another resort.

Disgusting Experience – Do Not Book Our stay at this resort was a complete disaster. The food was unsafe—flies everywhere, a cockroach near the donut station, and spoiled eggs at breakfast. Meats were overly salty, and the chicken often smelled bad. Worse, all the à la carte restaurants were “fully booked” for our entire stay, so we were stuck eating the same dirty buffet every night. Both of my children got food poisoning during the trip. The pool water was filthy, and shockingly, we even saw feces floating in it. No one cleaned it up properly or closed the area—absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. The staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and most didn’t speak or understand English, making even basic requests frustrating. We were treated like an inconvenience rather than guests. This resort is a health hazard and not worth your time or money. We booked expecting a relaxing getaway, but it turned into a nightmare. Look elsewhere—you’ll thank yourself later.

Absolutely the Worst Resort Experience – Do Not Stay Here I stayed at Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort from April 28 to May 2, and I can honestly say this was the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many resorts around the world, but this one was beyond disappointing on every level. 1. Arrival and Reception We arrived around 7 PM, and from the moment we stepped in, the staff at the reception were cold and unwelcoming. When I politely asked if it was possible to have a room close to my parents, the front desk staff responded in the rudest, most disrespectful way I’ve ever experienced. Their attitude was shocking, and it felt like we were bothering them just by being there. 2. Food, Drinks & Restaurants • Buffet Staff: The majority of the buffet staff were incredibly unprofessional and blatantly rude. Asking for a fork or spoon felt like a crime — they would ignore us at least two or three times before reluctantly bringing anything. • Food Quality: The buffet food was absolutely disgusting. The freshness was questionable, flies were constantly landing on the food, and on one morning, some of the items were clearly spoiled. The property is very near the ocean you can walk from the swimming pool right out to the ocean. The elevators often did not work. when we left our third level room, the handle broke on our suitcase, and when we pointed out the situation to the staff, their response is, we should’ve told them about the elevator sooner. When in fact, the elevator was reported the night before. The check in procedure seemed fine until we realized that we did not get any information, as to the number for the front desk, room service, or Internet. We were not told that we could go to the adult side of the resort for coffee or other amenities, or what time restaurants opened how to make reservations, where the Spa was or how to make reservations for a massage. the staff at the resort could only speak broken English, and that was everyone! It was extremely difficult to communicate. The staff also did not seem pleasant. They did not smile. It was hard to get reservations for the specialty restaurants as nearly all the times were booked. You should make them as soon as you arrive on the property. The swim up bars and all the bars in general were fantastic. If the server could understand what you were asking for the drinks were delicious. The evening theater started at 9:30, which we felt would be better if it would start at 8 o’clock. The view of the ocean was fabulous. The sand on the beach was wonderful, and you could walk for a half a mile and only still be up to your knees and water.

El hotel en general es muy lindo, el staff en los bares y restaurants y otras areas muy atentos - excellent! Muy Buena musica y la comida buena... Ahora bien, areas a mejorar definitivamente front desk... Llegamos y tuvimos q esperar una hora additional luego de la hora establecida del check in, solo me dieron las tarjetas de toalla y cuarto y YA ... No informacion, no guia, NO NADA... Tuvimos que preguntar por todo ya q NADIE en el front desk nos oriento. No se nos indico absolutamente nada sobre los agentes de Expedia en el hotel... Ni de excursions, ni de como hacer reservation de restaurantes ... NADA. Tuvimos la oportunidad de cenar en algunos restaurant pq nuestros amigos pudieron hacer reservation la cual no fue por la app ... La application del hotel no tenia cupo para ningun restaurant aunque los mismo estaban a medio cupo de Gente. Otra cosa, si deseas usar una silla en la piscina Pon tu toalla desde la media Noche ... Eramos un grupo de 10 y jamas pudimos usar ni una silla... Mismo issue con las sillas de playa. Btw, el hotel es un exito para familias con niños sobretodo menos de 10 años. Y por ultimo... La diferencia en trato con los premium vs los non-premium customer es tan fuerte que no dan ganas de volver... El hotel, la playa y staff en algunas areas es un 10 pero los detalles malos nos dañaron una semana se vacaciones. Mejor organizacion y servicio desde q se entra al hotel les va ayudar a seguir creciendo.
